The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2

In Paris, Jennifer Lawrence was caught on camera as she shot scenes for The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 2 involving a huge crowd of elaborately costumed extras. Meanwhile in Los Angeles, Warren Beatty was shooting his new Howard Hughes movie out on the streets where photographers caught Matthew Broderick and a glammed-up Lily Collins at work. The still-untitled film centres on an affair the elderly Hughes (played by Beatty) had with a younger woman. Costars include Annette Bening, Martin Sheen, Alden Ehrenreich, Brooklyn Decker, Oliver Platt and Candice Bergen. The film will be out next year. And over in Dublin, actors Rachel Weisz, Colin Farrell, Lea Seydoux, Aggeliki Papoulia (Alps) and Roger Ashton-Griffiths (Game of Thrones) were caught on camera as they shot their new fantasy-drama The Lobster, the English-language debut of award-winning Greek filmmaker Giorgos Lanthimos (Dogtooth). Set in the near-future, it's about a group of single people who are told they have 45 days to find a partner, or they'll be turned into animals. The Expendables 3

A new teaser for August's The Expendables 3 promises "one last ride" for the geriatric ensemble that includes Sylvester Stallone, Arnold Schwarzenegger and Dolph Lundgren, plus relative youngsters Jason Statham, Terry Crews and Jet Li. Joining them this time are Harrison Ford, Antonio Banderas, Mel Gibson, Kellan Lutz, Kelsey Grammer and Wesley Snipes. A new trailer for the latest version of Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles promises a big action blockbuster starring Megan Fox. Directed by Jonathan Liebesman, the film looks like it's packed with massive effects, huge explosions and lots of snarky dialogue. It opens in August in the US and October in the UK. There's a special featurette about the upcoming dystopian thriller The Giver, starring Jeff Bridges, Meryl Streep, Brenton Thwaites, Katie Holmes and Alexander Skarsgard. In the behind-the-scenes clip, author Lois Lowry discusses how the film explores the idea of memory in its story of a teen charged with knowing the full truth about his utopian society's violent past. X-men: Days of Future Past

And a series of new clips have been released to trail X-men: Days of Future Past, which opens in just two weeks. It's a sequel to both First Class and the original X-men trilogy, as both casts engage in a time-travel plot to stop an impending apocalypse. Franchise newcomer Peter Dinklage joins the returning cast, which includes Michael Fassbender, James McAvoy, Ian McKellen, Patrick Stewart, Hugh Jackman, Jennifer Lawrence, Halle Berry, Ellen Page, Anna Paquin, Nicholas Hoult and James Marsden.
