‘Entourage’ is coming back, but this time it's moving from television screens to the cinema. So what do we already know about Vincent Chase and his gang's move to the big screen?
The 'Entourage' cast reunited on set
Entourage
You remember ‘Entourage’ right? The HBO show that ran 8 seasons between 2004 and 2011? Well if not you might want to go back and do a rewatch. When it first hit our screens it won acclaim for its witty dialogue and well thought out characters and in its time it picked up its fair share of awards. The series followed the exploits of actor Vincent Chase and his entourage of friends including his manager (played by Kevin Connolly) and Jeremy Piven as his agent. The show was loosely based on producer Mark Wahlberg’s experience as an up and coming actor in Hollywood. Rumors of an ‘Entourage’ movie had been flying around for years and the project has experienced numerous delays. Most notably was last year when some of the stars were allegedly holding up production for more money. However in October things finally started moving forward and shooting began this February.
The Team
‘Entourage’ series creator Doug Ellin is behind the camera for the big screen move. He doesn't have that much directing experience on his CV with 1998’s David Schwimmer flop ‘Kissing A Fool’ being his most recent directorial credit. What he is experienced at is writing, having served as the show’s head writer, so fortunately he’s taken on scripting duties as well along with Rob Weiss who also wrote for the show. Weiss will also be producing alongside Mark Wahlberg.

The Cast
Luckily the show’s main stars have all signed on to return. Incase you've forgotten them that’s Adrian Grenier as Vincent Chase, Kevin Connolly as Eric Murphy, Jeremy Piven as Ari Gold, Kevin Dillon as Johnny Chase and Jerry Ferrara as Turtle. Debi Mazar will also be returning as Shauna. Joining is Billy Bob Thorton and Haley Joel Osment, who will be playing a father son duo. Of course one thing ‘Entourage’ became famous for was the celebrity cameos and don't expect the movie version to let you down on this front. Already signed up to appear as themselves are Liam Neeson, Piers Morgan and Emily Ratajkowski.
