Embattled rapper/producer Jermaine Dupri is facing further financial woes after he was hit with a lawsuit over his luxury sports car.
The star purchased a white Lamborghini Murcielago, worth $330,000 (£206,250), in 2006 using a finance plan, but he allegedly fell behind with payments in 2009 and the car was recently repossessed, according to Tmz.com.
The website reports bosses at Premier Financial Services, the company behind the deal, took the car and sold it off in a bid to pay the debt, but they are now suing Dupri over allegations they have been left more than $79,000 (£49,375) out of pocket.
The lawsuit was filed in Georgia Superior Court.
Dupri has been struggling with a number of financial problems in recent months - he faced foreclosure on his home in Atlanta, Georgia in April (11), but saved the house from going under the hammer after reportedly working out a deal to keep the property.
He has also been accused of falling behind on tax payments and in May (11), a former lover claimed he had failed to pay child support for their daughter.
