Bono's Injury Puts The Breaks On U2's "Tonight Show" Residency
Bono's packed schedule will have to wait due to his recent injury.
U2 frontman Bono has reportedly injured his arm riding his bicycle around Central Park in New York and is set to undergo surgery for the problem. So says U2’s official website. In a message to their fans, the band (or their PR person, anyway) wrote: "We're sure he'll make a full recovery soon, so we'll be back!"
Bono will have be off playing for a while.
This puts a spoke in the wheel of their upcoming week-long residency on The Tonight Show with Jimmy Fallon. The gigs have been postponed indefinitely.
