Jimmy Kimmel continued his reign of terror on Trick-or-Treaters with the sixth annual Halloween candy prank. This year, however, was the first time he got to do the prank himself on his 2-year-old daughter Jane. Needless to say, it didn't go as well as he'd hoped.

Every year on 'Jimmy Kimmel Live', we get to see videos of parents pulling the 'Halloween candy prank'; the ultimate in mean tricks to play on your children. Basically, your kid goes Trick-or-Treating, picks up a huge collection of candy from the neighbours, you send them off to bed when they get home and they wake up excited to indulge in the previous nights sugary pleasures. Only... you tell them that you ate all their candy.

Over the years, reactions have ranged from Hulk-like fury, to despairing tears, and the odd immediate forgiveness. But for Jimmy Kimmel, he just got total apathy because Jane was already in a bad mood. 'She woke up this morning in a snippy mood and she also is at the age where she says no to everything', he said. 'So I decided this was the perfect time to tell her I ate all her Halloween candy.'

'Remember all the candy you got?' He asked his daughter. 'Daddy, ate all of it.' Needless to say, Jane repeatedly said 'No', refusing to believe her father would do such a thing, and unlike children before her she was fairly confident in her conviction. In fact, when Jimmy showed her the empty box, all she had to say was: 'It has dirt in it!'

'Yeah, there's a little bit of dirt in there. But, Jane, you're missing the point', he pressed. 'Your father ate all your Halloween candy.' In the end, he realised he wasn't getting anywhere. All she wanted at that time in the morning was pancakes.
