In case you thought James Corden's Carpool Karaoke couldn't get any better, he appeared alongside Jimmy Kimmel in a brief sketch ahead of the 68th Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 18th 2016) and made the host sing none other than 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go'.

'The Late Late Show with James Corden' brought its most popular segment to the Emmys with host Jimmy Kimmel in the passenger seat. He wasn't prepared for what James had prepared for him, however, and he was promptly forced to sing along to Wham!'s 1984 number one hit 'Wake Me Up Before You Go-Go'. Naturally, Jimmy didn't need too much persuading to join in the fun.

The skit also cut to a re-arranged version of the original video, James and Jimmy wearing 80s style wigs and matching white outfits with 'Choose Life' T-shirts - much like George Michael himself. It turned out to be a dream sequence for the skit, as pretty soon we are back in the car with James looking full of regret and Jimmy thoroughly over-enthusiastic.

'Yeah, no, this isn't going to work. You need to get out of the car', said James.

Previous guests on Carpool Karaoke have been Red Hot Chili Peppers, Lin-Manuel Miranda, Justin Bieber, Stevie Wonder, Adele and even First Lady Michelle Obama. Needless to say, James never threw any of them out of his vehicle.

More hilarious moments from Jimmy Kimmel's journey to the Emmys included hitching a ride with the cast of 'Modern Family', politician Jeb Bush and Emilia Clarke as Daenerys Targaryen from 'Game Of Thrones'. Because a dragon is as good a transport as any.

It's a shame his mom couldn't give him a ride, though we guess she was busy making thousands of peanut butter and jelly sandwiches for the audience, which were subsequently handed out by the cast of 'Stranger Things'.
