Fact: U.S. TV personality RuPaul is working with Star Wars: The Force Awakens filmmaker J.J. Abrams to create a biographical comedy drama series. RuPaul will serve alongside Abrams as an executive producer on the as-yet-untitled Warner Bros. TV show, which will share a fictionalised version of how the star became a top drag queen and gay and transgender icon, reports TheWrap.com.

Fact: A terminally-ill Star Wars fan has been treated to an advance preview of the upcoming instalment The Force Awakens following a social media campaign backed by actors Mark Hamill and John Boyega. Daniel Fleetwood, who has been given months to live in his battle with cancer, watched the film on Thursday (05Nov15) following a surprise call from director J.J. Abrams. The sci-fi movie is released next month (Dec15).
