Though 'Justice League' may not be performing quite as well as Warner Bros. and all those attached would like, the movie has still caused some big conversations, partly in thanks to the post-credits scene that occurs for those willing to sit in their cinema seats right through to the end.

In that scene, Lex Luthor (Jesse Eisenberg) can be seen, having escaped prison and having set up a meeting with none other than Slade Wilson, aka Deathstroke (Joe Manganiello). Whilst fans had already seen Lex as the primary antagonist in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice', it's the first time we've seen cinematic footage of Manganiello's take on Slade, and left the majority very excited about his future in the DC Extended Universe.

Now, the hype surrounding Deathstroke is a fire that's been stoked once more, with Manganiello whetting the appetite of fans across the globe thanks to a certain social media post.

Taking to his Twitter account, the actor posted a brand new first-look picture at him donning his full Deathstroke outfit, mask in hand, which you can check out below:

It's great to see how loyal filmmakers are being with Wilson's outfit in the DCEU, as they could have easily taken some artistic license with it and done something that wouldn't hit all of the right notes for loyalists and those who love canon.

Exactly how he'll play into the wider picture remains to be seen, but it's fair to say Deathstroke is one of DC's most-loved villains. Manu Bennett made him a household name thanks to his stellar performance as him on The CW series 'Arrow', and so to see a new version up on the big screen will no doubt be an exciting process.
