Fall Out Boy bassist Pete Wentz has confirmed the band will be playing songs from their new album 'Mania' on their upcoming US tour, despite delaying the record's release
Fall Out Boy will still perform songs from new album 'Mania' on tour - despite delaying the record's release until 2018.
The 'Centuries' rock band - made up of Patrick Stump, Pete Wentz, Joe Trohman and Andy Hurley - postponed their highly anticipated follow-up to 2015's 'American Beauty/American Psycho' because they weren't convinced it was the best it could be.
Bassist Pete told Billboard magazine: ''It's one of those things where we made the decision to push it back on our own. I think it would be different if it was a decision that was not in our hands, so then we'd feel like we had to make certain changes.

Throughout the summer of 2015 Fall Out Boy went on tour throughout the US as part of their 'Boys Of Zummer' tour which saw them play 40+ dates all around the country. The band toured with Wiz Kalifa and Hoodie Allen as part of the promotion in support of their sixth studio album American Beauty/American Psycho.
This particular performance was recorded in the boy's home town of Chicago and as might be expected for a homecoming gig, the crowd were on fine form. The band played a best of set including 'Sugar, We're Goin Down', 'This Ain't A Scene, It's An Arms Race' and 'Dance, Dance'.
As a bonus, tour-mate Wiz Kalifa comes on stage to perform one of their more recent singles 'Uma Thurman'.

Fall Out Boy celebrate their newest addition, after their guitarist Joe Trohman, has his first child; a daughter named Ruby.
Joe Trohman, the guitarist for world renowned rock band Fall Out Boy, has become a father for the first time. Trohman and his wife, Marie Wortman Goble, have been married since 2011, and welcomed their daughter, Ruby, into the world on 25th April, 2014.
Without wanting to let this happiness and joy go unnoticed by fans, the band have released a picture on their official Twitter page, showing Trohman cradling the brand new bundle of joy, with a caption stating: "Just added a new member to the crew welcome Ruby @trohman #falloutbaby."
The news comes in a year of good news for the band, following a recent announcement from bassist Pete Wentz, when he confirmed that his girlfriend Meagan Camper is pregnant, and he is set to become a father for the second time in February, 2014.
