From 'Get Out' to 'Lights Out', tonight's the night for a spook party.
It's Friday the 13th and that means it's the perfect night (after Halloween) to indulge in a horror fest of epic proportions. The film genre has made quite some progress in the last five years, so it's time to put your classic Jason Voorhees movies away and explore what the current horror universe has to offer.
1. Get Out (2017) - By far one of the greatest psychological horrors ever released. It's a flawless balance of serious racial themes and a parodical look at 'positive' discrimination as an African-American played by Daniel Kaluuya gets caught up in a cult of white body-snatchers. Well deserving of Jordan Peele's Oscar for Best Original Screenplay.
He'll be at the helm of another thriller with his 'A Quiet Place' team.
Barely a week after his new horror flick dropped, John Krasinski is already working on another project with the film's producers entitled 'Life On Mars'. It's a short story adaptation for the actor-turned-filmmaker, though he's not thought to be starring in the film himself.

The likes of Michael Bay, Andrew Form and Brad Fuller are re-joining the director for his next movie, which is currently in negotiations to be picked up by Paramount. It will be the immediate follow-up to his latest film 'A Quiet Place', in which he starred with his real life wife Emily Blunt.

Krasinski got something of a hostile reception at customs when arriving in Britain to visit Blunt earlier this year.
When talking about his wife Emily Blunt in the past, John Krasinski has always been very much aware that he’s punching above his weight. However, it definitely registered with him when he had an unpleasant encounter with a British customs agent recently.
The former ‘The Office US’ alumnus, 38, has been married to English actress Blunt for nearly eight years, and they have two daughters together. Stopping by ‘The Tonight Show’ on Tuesday night (April 3rd), the star told host Jimmy Fallon about the time he visited his wife on the set of Mary Poppins Returns in Britain a few months ago.
“I married up, and don’t I know it,” Krasinski quipped, after the audience had cheered loudly after Fallon had mentioned Blunt’s name. “They don’t have to tell me; the customs agent in London did.”
John Krasinski is open to joining the world of superhero movies, alongside his wife Emily Blunt.
John Krasinski may be gearing up for the release of his new movie 'A Quiet Place', on which he directed and co-starred alongside his wife Emily Blunt, but that hasn't stopped the star from chatting about the future. In fact, he's even recently mentioned that he'd love to join the world of films released by Marvel Studios in the near future if given the opportunity.
John Krasinski would love to join a Marvel film as Mister Fantastic
Following the recent deal between 21st Century Fox and Disney, which would see the Marvel characters under Fox's control eventually be able to move on over to Disney and potentially join their Marvel Cinematic Universe, there's likely a lot of behind-the-scenes chatter about which of the comic book characters should first make the jump. Frontrunners will of course include the members of the Fantastic Four. Mister Fantastic, Invisible Woman, Human Torch, and The Thing are the four members of the crimefighting squad, and we've seen various iterations of the group on the big screen throughout the years. 2015's 'Fantastic Four' movie failed to make waves, however, so we imagine the next time we see them in cinemas will be yet again another reboot. Could we see Krasinski as a part of that?

He reveals that he hasn't yet had a call about a reboot though.
There have been a few rumours recently that there may be a return of the much-loved mockumentary 'The Office' coming soon, though it doesn't appear that John Krasinski has been in the loop if it's true. Nonetheless, he admits that he would love to return to that show.

The 38-year-old played paper salesman Jim Halpert on the American version of the show which ran from 2005 to 2013. But despite the fact that one of the best things about the show was his relationship with receptionist Pam Beesly, he says he hasn't had a call from NBC asking him to return for a reboot.

The new Disneynature documentary Born in China explores the family lives of snow leopard cubs, a baby panda and some lively young monkeys. And actor-filmmaker John Krasinski jumped at the chance to provide the voiceover narration. "I actually got a call that Disney was interested in me, particularly for this," Krasinski says.

"I've seen all the Disneynature movies and I find them so incredibly emotional. I find myself bonding to these characters unbelievably, so I was thrilled. But then I got really nervous, because the people who've done it before me are Meryl Streep, Morgan Freeman, John C. Reilly - people who are pretty good at what they do!"

The eminent primatologist was speaking about the highlights of Disneynature's new documentary film 'Born In China', released in the U.S. on April 21st.
Amid the seasonal blockbusters and traditional popcorn fare, one of the highlights of the Easter movie release schedule looks to be the upcoming Disneynature documentary film Born In China.
Making its official debut on April 21st in the United States in a limited release, Born In China is narrated by John Krasinski as camera crews ventured deep into the wilds of China to film some fantastic beasts in their natural habitat.

The British actress took US citizenship in August, after living in California for six years.
Sicario actress Emily Blunt has revealed her decision to become a US citizen was mainly due to tax reasons. Blunt became an American citizen back in August, but quickly encountered controversy after comments she made following the Republican presidential debate.

Blunt and Buble split in 2008 amid rumours that he had cheated on her.
The 32 year old Sicario actress, who now has 19 month old daughter Hazel with her husband of five years John Krasinski, told radio presenter Howard Stern on his SiriusXFM show on Wednesday (September 30th) that her split with Buble was “complicated” and that she doesn’t feel comfortable discussing it in depth.
However, the British star did say that she and the 40 year old Canadian singer “had a good time” while they were together and that she still loves his family, especially his mother Amber. “I loved his family. I love his family. I still do.”

Benghazi, Libya has become out-of-control, with Islamic extremists terrorising the state with multiple bomb attacks. As such, the CIA operatives that have been stationed there to covertly observe the terrorism are in more danger than ever before, and so an elite team of former military weapons and manouvre experts are brought on for ultimate security. Jack Da Silva is the team's newest recruit, having previously trained SEALs at the Coronado Navy base. Led by the sharp and formidable Rone, the six-man group face their first major attack when Islamic radicalists storm the US embassy. With the death of an American Ambassador occurring not long after, it's clear that these men have something close to a suicide mission to undertake. But they're willing to risk everything to save the rest of their country's civilians.
