Bosses at Dallas, Texas firm Heritage Auction have obtained the chunk of hair, which a stylist snipped off before Lennon's appearance in 1967 movie How I Won The War. Bidding for the odd item sailed past $12,000 (£8,000) on Monday (08Feb16).
