John Malkovich took to the stage in Seoul, South Korea on Wednesday (14Jan15) to premiere his classical music collaboration with pianist Ksenia Kogan.

The Dangerous Liaisons actor, who created the piece with Kogan, provides narration in time with music performed by the pianist and the Korean Chamber Orchestra.

Malkovich read sections from the Ernesto Sabato novel On Heroes and Tombs over a piano concerto composed by Alfred Schnittke.

Before his performance at Seoul Arts Center, he said, "It's my seventh or eighth work with classical musicians and classical music, and well, in this case, modern classical... I've loved the experience, and that's what really motivates me (to do similar projects)."
