This single is a grower. The Johnnies sounds like a traditional English rock band, 3 Colours Red, The Wildhearts, and The Almighty et al…… but these guys have a slight advantage, they have punk youth. Intensive but hardly original riffing, a large chorus, spiteful lyrics, you get all the rock cliques here and to be honest it does what it says on the tin, It rocks! Don’t be expecting innovative guitar techniques or anything, just plain simple Rock and if you like that then buy this. If not then I would worry.
