Donna Summer's daughter and her bandmate husband, Abner Ramirez, had a birthing pool all set up so the stars could welcome their first child, son Joaquin, in the comfort of their own home in February (15), but the delivery didn't quite work out as they had hoped.

The new mum explains, "I did have him at home... I had a pool, (but) I never made it to the pool. I was walking around and I was like, 'I think I'm fine, it's not so bad', and then all of a sudden I was like, 'Oh no, no, no, this is happening now.' The pool was set up; I never made it in."

Despite the pool mishap, Ramirez insists helping with his son's birth was just "perfect".

He says, "It was fun... it was great. It was actually the most beautiful thing I've ever been a part of. It sounds so cheesy. I didn't think I'd be the old man saying, 'The most perfect day of my life was the day my son was born', but that's what it is."

And Sudano confesses the real reason why she chose to give birth at home: " I got to eat all the time. That was my big fear of hospitals; you don't get to eat, and I'm a foodie..."
