Jonah Hill Turns Danny Brown's 'Ain't It Funny' Into A Sinister Sitcom

Danny Brown Jonah Hill

Detroit Rapper Danny Brown has just unveiled a disturbing yet strangely hilarious new music video for his latest single 'Ain't It Funny', directed by none other than Jonah Hill. The song is from his critically acclaimed fourth album 'Atrocity Exhibition' which was released last year.

The video for 'Ain't It Funny' is set like a traditional 80s sitcom on a fictional channel called The Religious Values Network. It features a family of five; the mother, the father, the little brat brother, the older daughter and the uncle. Danny Brown plays the crack-smoking Uncle whose problem no-one takes any notice of.

War Dogs Review

Good

Based on a rather astounding true story, this comedy-drama centres on two stoners who landed a massive defence contract with the American government to sell arms for the War on Terror. The story is told with a heavy dose of macho swagger by The Hangover's Todd Phillips, which makes it entertaining even as it dodges the heavier themes the plot is raising. It's also set in a world where smugness is an asset and women are irrelevant.

It begins in 2005 Miami, where David (Miles Teller) is working as a masseur and living happily with his girlfriend Iz (Ana de Armas). Then he runs into his old school friend Efraim (Jonah Hill), who convinces him that there's money to be made selling weapons to the US military. Over the next few years, the business expands dramatically, bringing in a fortune as David and Efraim travel into Iraq to see their deals through. Then they land a massive new contract that involves working with a rather dodgy supplier (Bradley Cooper) and processing the arms in Albania. But as they start bending the law to maximise their profits, things start to fall apart.

Phillips tells this with a quick step and a twinkle in his eye, zipping through the events with masculine energy, filling scenes with black humour as the business gets murkier. Hill and Teller make a terrific team, using their impeccable comic timing to make every scene zing. They are also excellent at bringing out the contrasts between David and Efraim: David tries to do things right, Efraim has no moral compass. And their differing approaches to cross-cultural situations are telling as well. Many of their conflicts seem scripted for movie purposes, but they're so well-played that we don't mind too much. By comparison, the supporting cast kind of fades into the background. Cooper grabs attention in a seriously oddball role, while de Armas is completely sidelined as the only person with a conscience.

Jonah Hill Did So Much Fake Cocaine In 'Wolf Of Wall Street' He Ended Up Hospitalised

Jonah Hill

Jonah Hill has revealed he ended up in hospital during the filming of the Wolf of Wall Street after ingesting too much fake cocaine. The actor starred as Donnie Azoff in the 2014 Martin Scorsese film and spent a lot of his screen time snorting the fake powder.

Jonah HillJonah Hill pretty much overdosed on fake cocaine during Wolf Of Wall Street filming

Speaking on Any Given Wednesday with Bill Simmons Hill said: “I had to be hospitalised. If you ingest that much matter into your lungs you’ll get very sick, and we were literally doing fake coke for, like, seven months, every day.

Jonah Hill And Miles Teller Bonded Quickly For War Dogs

Jonah Hill Miles Teller

In the new comedy-drama War Dogs, Jonah Hill and Miles Teller play childhood friends who meet up again in their late 20s and go into business as arms dealers. Since it's based on a true story, both actors were keen to dive into the roles.

Jonah Hill and Miles Teller in War DogsJonah Hill and Miles Teller star in War Dogs

Hill says he was aware of the story from a Rolling Stone article, but found out that The Hangover director Todd Phillips had already bought the rights. "So I reached out to him," Hill says. "And I said, 'If you ever make a movie out of this, I'd love to talk about playing Efraim because he is one bizarre, messed-up character.' I was just really attracted to how insane the story was and that the characters were people my age doing these insane things."

Teller agrees that the characters' age was a key factor in his interest in the role. "I think that these guys' youth kind of gave them a certain feeling that maybe they didn't have as much to lose," he says. "It's rare to get a script for guys in their 20s that are actually doing things with big responsibility or a more mature tone. And I was excited to play the straight guy who actually has more of a moral compass. Those aren't always the parts you're getting."

Watch the trailer for 'War Dogs' here:

While Teller was able to work with David Packouz, the man he plays in the film, Hill still hasn't met Efraim Diveroli. "As written, Efraim was kind of outlandish, colourful, deceitful and manipulative," Hill says. "But also everyone described him as very charming. So that was the great challenge."

In working on the role, he also began to understand Efraim's morality. "It's the 14-year-old version of yourself that goes, 'Hell, yeah!' but you don't examine the outcome," Hill says. "You see the snapshot and want to live in that snapshot, but you don't see the moral, physical, legal repercussions. You're just thinking like a kid."

Due to previous work commitments, Hill and Teller didn't have the usual time to bond before filming began. But Hill says this actually worked in their favour. "These are two people who were really close but haven't seen each other for a long, long period of time," he says. "On the set, I think we got to really bond because we started the movie in Romania."

Teller agrees: "Yeah, you bond when you're just waking up at 2am in a country where you don't know anybody and you don't know anything!"

Hail, Caesar! Review

Excellent

An intelligent ode to a time when Hollywood made wildly inventive movies without pressure from focus groups, there's a serious edge to what superficially looks like a madcap comical romp. But this isn't one of Joel and Ethan Coen's nutty comedies. It's a pointed exploration of the collision between art and commerce, assembled as a sprawlingly entertaining ensemble movie packed with lively, often hilarious characters.

It's set over 24 hours at Capitol Pictures in 1951 as studio minder Eddie (Josh Brolin) tries to keep several movies in production despite a series of hitches, while twin gossip columnists (two Tilda Swintons) try to get a scoop. Top movie star Baird (George Clooney) has been kidnapped by communist writers from the set of his Roman epic. Water-ballet diva DeeAnna (Scarlett Johansson) is pregnant and unapologetically unmarried. And rising-star Hobie (Alden Ehrenreich) is struggling to make the transition from Western action hero to chamber room drama, clashing with his demanding new director Laurence (Ralph Fiennes). Meanwhile, song-and-dance man Burt (Channing Tatum) is up to something on the set of his sailor musical. With all of this, Eddie begins to think that maybe he should take the offer of a job outside the film industry.

As the movie darts between these various productions, the Coens gleefully reinvent this series of genres that have essentially died out. Yes, the film is a pointed depiction of how Hollywood used to make a wide array of movies for much broader audiences. Each sequence is written and directed with witty details that perfectly catch the way the chaos of a film set can be transformed into a glamorous motion picture in time for the starry red-carpet premiere. And the entire cast rises to the challenge. Clooney is terrific as the dim-witted star who hasn't a clue what's happening around him. Ehrenreich shows real charm as a smart kid struggling in an insane situation. Brolin holds things together in a surprisingly sympathetic role, while Swinton, Johansson and Fiennes add plenty of spark, and the film is stolen by Frances McDormand as a spiky film editor.

Ever since his wonderful appearance in Wes Anderson's The Grand Budapest Hotel, we've been waiting for Ralph Fiennes to take up a similar role that shows a completely different side to the actor, now it looks like the Coen Brothers have given the actor such a role. Laurence Lorenz is an eccentric film director who finds himself caught up in a fiasco when Hollywood superstar Baird Whitlock is kidnapped.

Michael Cera Pulls A Beyonce, Releases (Really Good) Surprise Album

Michael Cera Jonah Hill

Um, did anyone else not know that Michael Cera is a musician? Outside of Scott Pilgrim, I mean. Not only that, he’s actually really good, if his new indie album, True That, is anything to go by. Cera pulled a Beyonce and released the album on his Bandcamp without any prior announcement. Those who want to get acquainted with Cera’s musical talents can buy True That for $7 or stream it for free.

Did I mention you can stream it for free? [Getty/Larry Busacca]

Oh and did we mention it’s really very good? Cera relies a lot on dissonance, which sorts itself into melody later in the songs and it’s a really engaging listen. It’s a quiet, chilled out mix of songs with some (dare we say it?) Sufjan Stephens influences and plenty of cinematic references, probably to remind us of Cera’s day job.

The Case For Channing Tatum To Stick To Making Comedy Movies

Channing Tatum Jonah Hill

Over the past few years we’ve been confronted by the curious case of Channing Tatum. Mostly in the sense of wondering what kind of actor it is that Tatum wants to be? He first rose to fame as Tyler Gage in the 2006 dance movie Step Up and he became a teeny bopper heartthrob almost overnight. With his muscular physique and loose hips he quickly amassed a huge female fan base who have been loyal to him throughout his career.

Channing Tatum Comedy Actor Tatum met wife Jenna Dewa-Tatum when they starred in Step Up together

The natural progression (with a body like that) must have seemed to be action movies of chick flicks, and Tatum has dabbled in his fair share of both. Starring in movies like Dear John and The Vow, Tatum proved his leading man abilities and it seemed as though for a while he’d found his niche in the cheesy, tear-jerking genre.

'22 Jump Street' Tops US Box Office But Are New Releases This Weekend Serious Threats?

22 Jump Street and How To Train Your Dragon 2 have topped the US weekend box office. The two newcomers gained, respectively, first and second position knocking, The Fault In Our Stars off the top spot. The latter film has plummeted to fifth two weeks after its release. Maleficent remains in the top three, having being pushed out of second position by HTTYD2. But after two weeks, the Disney re-envisioning of the Sleeping Beauty fairytale is doing fairly well.

22 Jump Street, which stars Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill as two undercover cops in college, has received positive reviews from critics and has evidently won over audiences with the reprisal of childish antics and easy laughs we encountered in the original, 21 Jump Street. It's the perfect film for the summer months and with the new competition released this weekend (20th June), may not be out of the box office top ten for some time. So what is on offer for this weekend?

After Solid Reviews, "22 Jump Street" Tops Weekend Box Office

Channing Tatum Jonah Hill

And the weekend box office winner is... drumrol please… 22 Jump Street. With $60 million over the three-day period, The Jonah Hill and Channing Tatum starring college comedy easily topped the other new release this weekend – How to Train Your Dragon. Both sequels got a boost from built-in franchise audiences, but the family film Dragon made only $50 million – still an impressive payday, considering it was competing against another big studio sequel. In the end, it was a win-win for Hollywood, since the double release weekend means strong box office figures all around.

Jump Speed recorded the fifth biggest opening for an R-rated comedy ever, afterthe $67m weekends of Rush Hour 2 and Bruce Almighty, the $73m weekend of Austin Powers 3, and the $85m Fri-Sun frame of The Hangover part II.

Forget 22 Jump Street - 'How to Train Your Dragon 2' is your finest comedy sequel of the year. Or so say the critics. DreamWorks Animation landed a major hit in 2010 when the original movie took a huge $500 million on a budget of $165 million - it was clearly ripe for a franchise and the signs suggest the animation giant have played this one perfectly.

After a pretty traumatic time returning to high school to uncover the source of a popular new drug, young cops Schmidt and Jenko are being forced to go undercover yet again. This time their special division has been moved from 21 to 22 Jump Street and they are re-experiencing college life. Sound fun? Well, not when you haven't got a clue what is going through kids' minds these days and with a new narcotic going around called Whyphy (that sounds a lot like WiFi), they've got an exceptionally tricky situation on their hands. Spring Break might mean time off for the students, but for Schmidt and Jenko it's the perfect opportunity to find the suppliers. First though, they need a little help from an old perp, who's currently serving time in jail after their previous drug bust.

Thought 'The Wolf Of Wall Street' Was Bad? Honestly: Belfort's Real Life Was Worse

Leonardo Dicaprio Jonah Hill Martin Scorsese

The decadence, debauchery, illegality and ignorance portrayed in Martin Scorsese’s The Wolf of Wall Street is something to behold. You’d be forgiven for thinking Leonardo Dicaprio, and the script and characters that surround him, are caricatures of the real Jordan Belfort and friends; over-emphasised for comic effect; blown out of proportion to hit the message home.

Wolf of Wall StreetJonah Hill and Leonardo DiCaprio live out the lives of those imfamous Wall Street brokers

But the real Jordan Belfort has admitted that while a great deal of the film’s content is true, some of it was even worse during his hedonistic days on Wall Street. If you’ve seen The Wolf of Wall Street, then you’ll find that hard to believe.

The Wolf Of Wall Street - Clips

It's a wild ride of drinking, drugs, debauchery and deception when the ambitious Jordan Belfort decides that he wants to be one of the rich kids. Starting out his stockbroker business in a small office with a handful of employees, his aims are simple; target only the richest people in the country. It isn't long before Belfort and his team find themselves with more money than they know what to do with and begin to live their lives manically high off the success. However, Belfort hasn't exactly been making what you'd call an honest living and pretty soon the secrets of his fraudulent profits and money laundering draws attention from the authorities. And not only that, his disregard for others' sufferings means he's got a lot more to lose than his beloved business.

'The Wolf of Wall Street' is a gritty white-collar crime drama based on the true story of Jordan Belfort, a former stockbroker who served 22 months in prison for his fraudulent activity in 1998 and subsequently wrote two memoirs entitled 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and 'Catching the Wolf of Wall Street'. The new movie has been directed by the Oscar winning Martin Scorsese ('Shutter Island', 'Goodfellas', 'The Departed') and written by multi-Primetime Emmy winning writer Terence Winter ('The Sopranos', 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Brooklyn Rules').

Celebrity relatives getting hitched, what could be more exciting? This weekend it was Clint Eastwood’s daughter Francesca Eastwood and Jonah Hill’s bro Jordan Feldstein got a quickie Vegas marriage last weekend, according to TMZ. The website bases this information on a photo of a marriage certificate with the pair’s names on it, dated November 17.

Oh and as a bit of added novelty, the gorgeous Eastwood and her new husband tied the knot at the Simple Wedding Chappel, which, among other things, offers Elvis impersonators as witnesses. According to the TMZ report, that’s all the information anyone (besides the newlyweds themselves, presumably) has at this point, with the two keeping mum about the whole thing. The website reports that Francesca was spotted out and about in Hollywood this week, sans wedding ring. But it could just be that the two are trying to be private about the affair… well, affair probably isn’t the right word at this point. But you get the idea - it was all very hush-hush.

Wolf Of Wall Street Trailer

Jordan Belfort started out his stockbroker business in a tiny office with a small group of people and had the intention of targeting only the richest people in America as their clientele. With such a small percentage of individuals lined up as hopeful patrons, their dreams of immense fortune and a life of luxury seemed embarrassingly unlikely. However, pretty soon the company starts to ooze more money than they can handle and it's parties, alcohol and women all round. Unfortunately, it soon becomes clear to everyone that what Belfort was doing to earn his fortune is not entirely legal and he risks his freedom and his wealthy lifestyle when the FBI get involved.

'The Wolf of Wall Street' is a white-collar crime drama based on the two memoirs by the real Belfort, who was jailed in 1998 for a string of fraudulent offences including money laundering. The autobiographies have since been translated into 18 different languages and now the Oscar winning Martin Scorsese ('Shutter Island', 'Goodfellas', 'The Departed') directs the screen adaptation which has been written by multi-Primetime Emmy winning writer Terence Winter ('The Sopranos', 'Boardwalk Empire', 'Brooklyn Rules'). The movie is set to be release on January 17th 2014.

'The Wolf Of Wall Street' Finally Gets Official Release Date & A New Trailer

Martin Scorsese Leonardo Dicaprio Jonah Hill

Thanks to various intervening forces, the release date of Martin Scorsese's next picture - the Leonardo Dicaprio-starring The Wolf of Wall Street - has been in contention for some time now. At first, it was due out on 15 November, but was pushed back for an unspecified period, with some estimates putting it as far back as spring 2014. Fortunately, we'll only have to wait just over a month longer to see the film, when it is released on 25 December.

According to The Hollywood Reporter, Paramount decided on the new date after heads at the company saw a shortened version of the film, with the running time cut from 180 minutes to 165 minutes. The studio bosses had initially put back the release in order to give director Scorsese ample time to trim away some of the fat, and he apparently unveiled the finished product this week. Content with how the film played out despite missing a few scenes, they decided to okay the film and set a 2013 release, which will also put it in contention for next years awards season.

This Is The End Review

Excellent

Comedies don't get much more self-referential than this film, in which a bunch of old friends get together and play themselves facing a biblical-style apocalypse. But they also don't get much funnier. Writing partners Rogen and Goldberg (Superbad, Pineapple Express) move into directing with this super-charged bromance that finds surprising resonance amid a constant barrage of vulgarity, in-jokes and end-of-the-world mayhem.

Rogen also stars as himself, happy that his childhood friend Jay is coming to visit him in Los Angeles. Jay prefers to live at home in Canada, far from the plastic L.A. scene, so Seth sets aside the first day with video games and lots of weed. Then they head to James' house for a starry Hollywood party, during which a series of massive earthquakes kills off most of the A-list guests. Seth, Jay and James survive, along with Jonah, Craig and Danny, and as they set up camp in James' mansion, their friendships are strained. Mainly because Danny eats their supply of food, Jay wants to go home, and Jonah is simply too nice to be believed. Until he's possessed by an angry demon.

The blinding array of cameos gives the film's early scenes a terrific kick, as big stars hilariously spoof their public personas before meeting a variety of fiery ends. An especially spiky Watson gets a few extra scenes of her own, while Cera has the most fun as a diva obsessed with sex and drugs. And Tatum gets the most jaw-dropping moment. But it's our six heroes who hold the film together, and their camaraderie adds a surprising warmth, most notably in the central bromance between Rogen and Baruchel.

Ahead Of London Premiere, Evan Goldberg Defends "This Is The End's" Guy-Centric Universe

Evan Goldberg Seth Rogen James Franco Jonah Hill

The Apocalypse is a trending topic lately and you can bet that when Seth Rogen and Evan Goldberg took it on, it wasn’t going to be anything other than a party. And party Rogen does, along with co-stars Jay Baruchel, James Franko, Craig Robinson and Jonah Hill (along with probably every other Hollywood comedian you can think of.) It’s an homage to bromance, while also being constantly hilarious and, while This Is The End probably doesn’t qualify as high cinema, so far there are no complaints (or not too many, at least.) While the film saw its US premiere more than two weeks ago, it is only now coming to the UK with a release date set for June 28th. Ahead of the official premiere, Rogen, Goldberg and James Franco attended an advance screening of the film Tuesday (June 25) at the Charlotte Street Hotel in London.

Seth Rogen, Evan Goldberg, This Is The End Promotional Appearance
Evan and Goldberg have turned the end of the world into a Hollywood rager.

To commemorate the occasion, Goldberg gave a few more details about the deeper meaning behind the apocalyptic comedy. As you can guess, it’s all about male friendship. "I think," says Goldberg in the interview, "movies didn't focus on male friendship so much before because people were insanely homophobic, and just uncool about man-to-man relationships. Now people are more accepting." Which may be true, but that doesn’t mean that the movie hasn’t gotten a lot of flack precisely for being so focused on male bonds – and neglecting to feature complex female characters entirely. Goldberg has an answer for that too.

Wow, this one looks pretty damn good doesn't it? The Wolf of Wall Street trailer, starring Leonardo Dicaprio as stockbroker Jordan Belfort, exploded onto the internet on Sunday (June 16, 2013) with tons of verve and energy. Directed by Martin Scorsese and based on Belfort's memoirs, the movie boasts a pretty stellar cast headed by DiCaprio and held firmly together by a particularly strong and funny looking performance from the excellent Matthew Mcconaughey

New York stockbroker Belfort refused to cooperate in a large FBI fraud case involving corruption into corporate banking and mob infiltration, living a hard-partying lifestyle at the same time. He made thousands of dollars a minute, spending it on sex, drugs and international travel before it all came crashing down.

The Wolf Of Wall Street - Teaser Trailer

Jordan Belfort is a successful stockbroker, multi-millionaire and motivational speaker from New York who had enough money to throw anywhere he wanted. He was arrested and jailed in 1998 for a string of fraudulent activities surrounding stock market manipulation including money laundering and mob infiltration. He served 22 months in prison after being given a sentence of 4 years, famously refusing to cooperate during the case which exposed massive corruption on Wall Street. His crime was fuelled by his loved of alcohol, parties, women and, generally, the finer things in life including his luxury yacht which was originally built for Coco Chanel. He wrote two memoirs which were published in around 40 countries and have since been translated into 18 different languages.

You Should See 'This Is The End' And Here's Why

Seth Rogen James Franco Jonah Hill Craig Robinson Danny McBride

We’ve all wanted to see This Is Then End ever since the very first trailer hit the airwaves, but now it looks like a ticket to the screening of the apocalyptic party movie might be more worth it than we thought. Oh, you thought you were getting a simple-minded comedy with celebrities acting like idiots? Well, it is that too, don’t worry, but surprisingly, This Is The End also takes its place as a skewering satire of celebrity culture – part of a definite trend lately.

While, yes, there are more famous faces in the film than at a Vanity Fair Oscars afterparty, what makes this film isn’t the mere presence of so many stars. Instead, the appeal is in the way the hyperbolized versions of famous actors interact with each other. Penned by Evan Goldberg and Seth Rogen (who also doubles as a member of the apocalypse squad in the movie,) this film sees both writers on top of their game. At the beginning of their career, the creative team set the bar pretty high with the hilarious nerdy romp Superbad. Unfortunately, they then failed to repeat the act with films like Pineapple Express.

Seth Rogen Gets Back Into The Groove With 'This Is The End'

Seth Rogen Jonah Hill Michael Cera James Franco Emma Watson Craig Robinson

If you’ve been keeping up on your film news at all this year, Seth Rogen’s apocalyptic comedy This Is The End should have been a big bleep on the radar. Not only does it feature pretty much everyone you can think of on the Hollywood comedy circuit (seriously, you have Michael Sera acting opposite Jason Segel, Rogen, James Franco, Emma Watson, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson and cameos from practically every big comedian of the past five years.) The cast list goes on and on.

This Is The End Trailer

When actor James Franco threw a party for his fellow movie stars including the star-studded cast of 'Knocked Up' and several stars of Seth Rogen's comedies including Seth himself, Jay Baruchel, Jason Segel, Jonah Hill, Craig Robinson, Danny McBride, Michael Cera and Christopher Mintz-Plasse, no-one expected it to be anything more than your average drink fuelled Hollywood superparty. However, things take a turn for the worst when they experience a major earthquake; the ground opens up to the hottest depths of the Earth's core swallowing up Rihanna and Jason Segal as mysterious beasts start swarming around outside. What's a comedy cast to do with limited food and no real skills of the like they portray in the movies - especially when golden girl Emma Watson bursts in on them wielding an axe demanding all their resources. This is Hollywood versus the apocalypse, but who would really win?

Seth Rogen Gets Everyone Excited With 'Pineapple Express 2' Trailer (Video)

Seth Rogen James Franco Jonah Hill Emma Watson

Seth Rogen and his pals James Franco and Danny McBride had everyone fooled over the weekend with a new trailer for 'Pineapple Express 2' - a sort of fake viral marketing campaigning for new film 'This Is The End.' Of course, the sequel was an April Fool's joke, though the second movie is very much real.

Stoner comedy Pineapple Express was a hit for Rogen, Franco and director David Gordon in the summer 2008, famously using M.I.A's track Paper Planes in the trailer. The song features in the fake sequel trailer, which sees the famous pair tasked with assassinating Woody Harrelson, or else! Jonah Hill also makes an appearance, noting, "Weed is for the people, it's the people's weed," while looking, well, pretty relaxed.

It's all good fun, though Rogen has the serious task of promoting 'This Is The End,' his new post-apocalyptic movie co-written with Superbad's Evan Goldberg. "We thought it'd be funny to see really famous people die in super graphic ways," Rogen said of the film at WonderCon this weekend "People were into it. At first we thought they'd be insulted or something like that - and some of them were - but most of them weren't. They were into it."

Django Unchained Review

Excellent

Tarantino takes an unusually comical approach to a provocative topic, and the result is as controversial as expected. And also startlingly hilarious. At its core, this is another revenge-themed thriller, but Tarantino's snappy, constantly surprising aproach spirals out to explore racial issues over the past 150 years with humour, drama and, of course, grisly violence.

Set two years before the American Civil War in 1858 Texas, the story centres on bounty hunter Schultz (Waltz), who offers the slave Django (Foxx) what seems like a fantasy job: to work with him to capture white criminals dead or alive. Usually dead. Sure enough, everyone is shocked to see a black man not only riding a horse but carrying a gun. When Django helps find three notorious outlaw brothers, he earns his freedom, and Schultz then offers to help free Django's enslaved wife (Washington). This involves staging an elaborate sting on her owner, the bloodthirsty Mississippi plantation owner Calvin (DiCaprio), who runs a ring of slaves who fight each other to the death. But Calvin's butler Stephen (Jackson) suspects that something is up.

Waltz and Foxx have terrific chemistry in the central roles, with Waltz's lively intelligence bouncing off Foxx's physical and emotional intensity. This gives the film an underlying drive that keeps us engaged through the blood-soaked violence as well as the more slapstick-style sequences (a KKK raid led by Johnson and Hill feels like a lost sequence from Blazing Saddles). But Tarantino's screenplay is beautifully constructed to even out the tone with exciting action, harrowing nastiness and some darkly involving drama. All while quietly exploring the twisted history of racial relations in America.

Globes Globes Best Dressed 2013: Who Got It Right? (Pictures)

Miranda Kerr Connie Britton Lena Dunham Salma Hayek Stacy Keibler Ben Affleck Jennifer Lawrence Orlando Bloom Jonah Hill Paul Rudd Megan Fox Brian Austin Green

Ok, so we know you fickle bunch want to know who the Golden Globes' best dressed stars were for 2013. You don't give a damn about Argo winning Best Picture, or Ben Affleck winning Best Director right? You want to know who got it right on the red carpet, and we don't blame you.

One thing particularly apparent at the Golden Globes 2013 was that actresses were prepared to take style chances. Not every outfit worked out, but it was worth the risk for many of Hollywood's biggest names. Cherry red was a favored color, while cut-out dresses, black gowns and intricate detailing were in abundance.

Yacht Party: Leonardo DiCaprio And Jonah Hill Hanging Down Under With Bikini Women

Leonardo Dicaprio Jonah Hill

Leonardo Dicaprio has been spotted partying on a yacht with his The Wolf of Wall Street co-star Jonah Hill. And frankly, who can blame him? He’s 38, he’s one of the most famous Hollywood stars on the planet, he just recently split from his girlfriend Erin Heatherton. All signs point to party, right!?

Leo and Jonah went out for a spin in the yacht, cruising around Sydney Harbour, with a bunch of bikini clad women. Actually, some of the women ended up less ‘bikini-clad’ as ‘not-so-bikini-clad’ by the end of the trip but hey, it’s Australia, it’s hot, the girls have got to keep cool, right? Absolutely nothing to do with a low-rent attempt at attracting the attention of two Hollywood movie stars, right? I mean, they probably didn’t even KNOW that Leo had just split up with Erin recently, right?

Leonardo was back in Australia after being summoned to the country to re-film some scenes for The Great Gatsby. Even though a second, stunning trailer has been released for the movie, it seems that director Baz Luhrmann is still putting the finishing touches to his ambitious 3D venture. Still, Mr DiCaprio’s work schedule couldn’t have been too hectic, is he found time to lap up the winter sun and take in the… erm… local sights.

Seth Rogan And James Franco See Out End Of The World In Hilarious New Trailer For 'This Is The End'

James Franco Danny McBride Craig Robinson Jonah Hill Emma Watson

The end is nigh! Well, it isn't really, but if it were then the new trailer for the upcoming Seth Rogan and James Franco staring comedy This Is The End probably leads the way in acceptable ways to see out the end of days.

The new clip sees the pair inside 'real-life' Franco's bunker, presenting the trailer for the film which we will all unfortunately miss, because it comes out next summer (we wont really miss it though of course). The two spend the last night on the world as we know it playing with a gun, masturbating, engaging in a 'sword-fight,' fighting over weed and eventually spooning before bed - what else would you want to do.

After the brilliant into, we're treated to an all new, red banded trailer of the actual film about the end of the Earth, which just so happens to be as funny as the beginning. As well as the Pineapple Express, there's a host of other big names set to star in the upcoming film, including: Danny McBride, Jonah Hill, Jay Baruchel and Craig Robinson, as well as a few cameos from the likes of Emma Watson to name but one, each playing an exaggerated (maybe) version of themselves.

Don Lemon: Putting The World To Rights By Arguing With Jonah Hill Via Twitter

Jonah Hill

Don Lemon took to Twitter recently to air his irritation with Jonah Hill, after Hill was not utterly overawed and enamoured in his brief, hotel lobby meeting with Lemon.

Don Lemon is an outspoken and award winning news anchor with CNN and has done reports on Hurricane Katrina, the African Aids Epidemic and even won the Edward R. Murrow award for his work on the Beltway sniper attacks. With that kind of journalistic record under his belt, to take to Twitter in a feud seems really odd. Jonah Hill is the Superbad funny-man who has forged a very successful career for himself, branching out of comedy in Moneyball  as well as producing and writing 21 Jump Street. Lemon's tweet to Jonah reads:

Jonah Hill responded, saying "I said hi. What do you want me to do, move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace." according to USA Today (the original tweet has been deleted). Lemon responded again "@JonahHill Hardly. You're not my type. But I know rude. And u were." Anyway, enough of this he-said-she-said business, this entire feud is ridiculous.

Jonah Hill Squeezes Bitter Lemon

Jonah Hill

One of the most ridiculously petty arguments ever appears to have broken out over Twitter after what was deemed by a seemingly overly uptight Don Lemon to be a less than courteous handshake by actor Jonah Hill in a hotel recently.

The pair have been bickering over what appears to be precisely nothing over the social networking site, with Lemon spilling his rage into an appearance on CNN. "Said hi to @jonahhill in hotel. Think he thought i was bellman. Didn't know his name til bellman told me. A lesson to always be kind” grumbled Lemon on Twitter, an indication that had racial undertones. Hill was less than impressed, replying "I said hi what do you want me to do move in with you? I was in a hurry. Didn't realize you were a 12 year old girl. Peace." adding: "I walked out of the restroom and found you waiting for me. Shook hands, said hi and was on my way. Sorry if you found that rude."

Lemon then went on CNN and continued his rant: “Jonah Hill doesn't owe me anything, and he may have been having a bad day ... but Jonah Hill treated me like the help” he fumed, though he did admit he was squeezed on the hand by Hill. He claimed however that it was a “wet handshake", continuing: "Normally it doesn’t bother me, but I was done ... because I’d been taught by mother to always be kind to people.” What a bitter Lemon.

Django Unchained Alternative Trailer

German bounty hunter Dr. King Schultz is on the hunt for a brutal gang of murderers, the Brittle brothers. His search leads him to the only person who has information on the group, Django, who is a slave living in the deep south of the States. Schultz crosses his path as he finds Django shackled to a group of other slaves who are all being taken to auction. Posing as a dentist, Schultz requests to buy him from his owners. On the owners' refusal, Schultz ruthlessly shoots them to death and takes the slave. The bounty hunter promises to free Django and take him to rescue his wife, Broomhilda, who has been enslaved by a Mississippi plantation owner on the dead or alive capture of the Brittle brothers. On their success, Schultz frees Django as promised but the pair decides to stick together as bounty hunters full time. Their search for Broomhilda leads him to the 'Candyland' plantation owner Calvin Candie who has trainer Ace Woody train slaves to fight each other for sport. The bounty hunters arouse suspicion from loyal house slave Stephen as they arrive to explore the property under a false guise and soon become under threat by a dangerous organisation who are determined not to let them escape with Broomhilda.

This western drama is directed by the award-winning director, writer and Quentin Tarantino ('Pulp Fiction', 'Kill Bill', 'Reservoir Dogs') and includes a star-studded cast. The Watch Review

Weak
You'd think that a film written by Stern (the surprisingly witty Mr Popper's Penguins) and Rogen/Goldberg (the hilarious Superbad and Pineapple Express) and starring a reliably funny cast would be a safe bet for a fun night out in the cinema. Well, unless your sense of humour is on par with a 12-year-old boy, guess again. With a sour tone and jokes that have no punchlines, this is a relentlessly unfunny comedy that shifts into an unexciting alien invasion thriller.

Stiller stars as Evan, an overachiever who can't bring himself to tell his loving wife (DeWitt) that he's sterile. When there's a murder in the super-store he manages, he forms a neighbourhood watch group with three losers: Bob (Vaughn) is struggling to cope with his teen daughter, Franklin (Hill) has an unhealthy obsession with guns, and Jemarcus (Ayoade) is a goofy sex addict.

All three would rather drink beer and play stupid games than keep their community safe. But then they discover that the killer was actually an alien who is leading an invasion of Earth.

The Watch are Costco manager Evan, father of a teenage daughter Bob, police reject Franklin and Jamarcus who seeks the love of a beautiful woman. Evan formed the Watch after his wife Abby forced him to move to the suburbs of Glenview, Ohio in an attempt to escape the mundaneness of his daily family life. The others, with same mindset, soon followed despite the persistent mockery from local kids and police officers that came along with it. Once they obtain their team jackets that truly scream don't-mess-with-us with their tiger/ wings/ fire emblems 'All on the same logo!', they are ready to sniff out the covert aliens of the town. What they weren't betting on was actually finding anything so when their vehicle collides with something in the road, coming across a splatter of your average mysterious green slime came as a bit of a surprise. They discover a mystifying ball of some sort that they eventually recognise as a deadly weapon after obliterating a cow with a beam of energy. The Watch realise that they must be the ones to defend their planet from this extra-terrestrial threat.

21 Jump Street Review

Excellent
An especially sharp script makes this riotous adaptation of the serious-minded 1980s TV series thoroughly entertaining. And it manages to achieve a balance between the action and spoofery due to sure-handed direction and a cast that really dives into the mayhem.

Rivals in high school, popular pretty boy Jenko (Tatum) and smart-shy nerd Schmidt (Hill) become unlikely friends to get through police academy. But being cops isn't quite as exciting as they thought it would be until they're assigned to the Jump Street squad run by Captain Dickson (Cube). This group of baby-faced cops infiltrate high schools, posing as students. Jenko and Schmidt's assignment is to find the source of a new super-drug that recently caused the death of a student.

Jonah recalled a member of the film's crew who gave the pair real guns to perform with, which were usually loaded with blanks.
