British broadcaster Jonathan Ross is nursing a nasty head injury after crashing his car while taking part in a high-speed racetrack challenge for hit motoring show TOP GEAR.
The TV and radio host took part in the programme's Star In A Reasonably Priced Car segment on Wednesday (02Feb11), but Ross lost control of the vehicle during the stunt in Surrey, south-east England, and had to be tended to by medics.
Ross tells Britain's The People, "My head banged all over the place and it's still really hurting now. I was coming round one of the corners where you have to be flat out and it started raining.
"The back end went out and and I spun out of control. It was almost a write-off. It could have been a lot worse. My head is still killing me."
The stunt is due to be aired in Britain on Sunday night (06Feb11). Tom Cruise and Cameron Diaz are among the stars who have previously participated in the challenge.
