Fact: Moviemaker Paul Thomas Anderson has documented his frequent collaborator Jonny Greenwood's recent trip to Rajasthan in India, where the Radiohead star recorded an experimental album with Israeli composer Shye Ben Tzur. The film, Junjun, will premiere at the New York Film Festival next month (Sep15). Greenwood worked on the scores for Anderson's films Inherent Vice, The Master and There Will Be Blood.
Fact: Radiohead rocker Jonny Greenwood went classical during a low-key gig in Australia on Friday (01Mar13) when he joined the Australian Chamber Orchestra Underground for an intimate show. The guitarist accepted an invitation to join forces with the classical musicians at their Sydney concert in a loft apartment, where Greenwood performed a cover of composer Steve Reich's Electric Counterpoint.
