Australian actor Josh Lawson is heading back Down Under to make his directorial debut in his native country.
The Campaign star is stepping behind the camera to take charge of independent film The Little Death and he has decided to make the movie on home soil.
Lawson, who will also tackle an acting role in the picture, insists he was determined to shoot the film in Australia.
He tells the Sydney Daily Telegraph, "This has been a long time coming for me. I have wanted to direct for a long time and it made sense for me to come back here because it just felt like the right place to direct the first one... It is terrifying and hard work but this is it."
Filming will begin on 29 July (13).
