Journey are taking legal action against a company that booked them for a gig, but then pulled out.
The rockers filed a lawsuit against audio company Monster, who they claim booked them to play the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas, Nevada, back in January (16).
In legal documents obtained by TMZ.com on Friday (13May16), the Don't Stop Believin' hitmakers say the deal was negotiated and confirmed back in October last year (15) for a fee of $500,000 (£312,500).
However, Monster allegedly contacted the band's representative the following month (Nov15), and said they did not have the funds needed so had to back out of the deal.
The band claim that the company got "cold feet", and decided to book a much cheaper act. Journey are suing for breach of contract, and are requesting the $500,000 payment.
