The writer will be presented with the prestigious accolade by series star Elizabeth MCGovern and executive producer Gareth Neame in recognition of his career success.

Fact: Downton Abbey creator Julian Fellowes has been cast in clay as part of a charity sculpture challenge. The screenwriter sat for a two-hour session with royal sculptor Frances Segelman, who created a bust of Fellowes as part of a fundraiser for the Stroke Association.
