Julie Christie may be abandoning acting - because she wants to be able to settle down and enjoy her twilight years. The actress is nominated for an Oscar at next month's Academy Award ceremony for her portrayal of an Alzheimer's disease sufferer in Away From Her. But the 66-year-old insists she is considering leaving behind Hollywood in exchange for a less chaotic lifestyle - and a pet dog. When asked whether she had a new project on her horizon, she said: "I can't think that far ahead. I want a dog. I want to be static enough in one place to have a dog."
