There might be some truth to Kid Rock’s comparison between Justin Bieber and Vanilla Ice. "Tell me if this is wrong. Justin Bieber...is 100 percent like watching Vanilla Ice all over again. It's exactly the same," Rock said to Howard Stern on Sirius XM. The comment may very well be completely accurate, but Bieber probably can’t hear it over the sound of his money piling up.

Still, Kid Rock predicts that even the money won’t save JB from the inevitable downward spiral. "The kid's young. He's got some money. He's got the world in his hands. It's just kind of sad to see him go down this trajectory," said the rock veteran. "It's gonna be a very long ride down. We all know the story. I kind of feel for the kid, to be honest with you." It doesn’t look like Justin has started his long ride down yet, though. In fact, the singer, who is yet to announce any new musical projects, seems to have landed himself a brand new acting gig. That’s what his twitter says anyway. The LA Times reported earlier today that Bieber, who is in the midst of his global Believe concert tour, recently tweeted, "rest of the world tour, movie, and #NEWMUSIC all coming this year! never stop working. #focused." That last part might not be entirely true, especially considering that Justin still finds time to get into 21-and-over clubs and get sued by photographers over damaged equipment, but hey, as long as the news is about upcoming work, there’s improvement.

Justin Bieber, Hollywood
Not that he seems to care though.
