Justin Bieber performed at the Pavilhao Atlantico in Lisbon, Portugal, on Monday evening (March 11, 2013) despite already having cancelled a show at the same venue for Tuesday. The 19-year-old has endured the worst week of publicity of his short career after a series of gaffes and hiccups in the United Kingdom and he cancelled a second date in Lisbon, reportedly owing to bad ticket sales.

Plenty turned out for the first show on Monday, though it seems the Baby hit-maker was unable to sell-out a second date in the same arena. "Due to unforeseen circumstances we have been forced to cancel the show scheduled for March 12," a rep for the venue said in a statement. "Justin looks forward to playing for his Portuguese fans on March 11. Refunds for ticket holders on March 12 are available from point of purchase."

On Thursday, March 7, the 19-year-old singer apparently fainted midway through his concert in London, leaving the stage before coming back to finish the show. However, some reports suggested it was merely a PR stunt to regain public opinion after he arrived on-stage 45 minutes later a couple of nights previous. Bieber also became involved in a scuffle with a London nightclub's security team after he arrived with underage friends. Later in the week, Justin was bundled into a car in the English's capital, though barged past a photographer before challenging him to a fight, albeit from behind his bodyguards. He later tweeted, "Sometimes when people r shoving cameras in your face all day and yelling the worst thing possible at u...well I'm human. Rough week."

Despite all this, Justin appeared to be in high spirits in Lisbon, as were his support acts Cody Simpson and Carly Rae Jepsen. The singer avoided the temptation to change his act in light of a rough week, and donned his familiar white trousers and white tank-top. He was once again lowered down to the stage on a pair of silver wings and didn't appear to be affected by the breathing problems he suffered in London.

His next schedule show is in Madrid, Spain, on March 14, though Justin and his entourage will no doubt be wanting to touch down in the United States sooner rather than later. His European tour has been nothing short of a disaster.
