And this is (part of) the reason Justin Timberlake is a national treasure.
Justin Timberlake just proved – yet again – what a cool guy he is. After all, it’s not every day that a performer will interrupt their gig and get a packed stadium to sing “Happy Birthday” to an 8-year-old boy. Julian Delan, who was diagnosed with high-functioning autism in 2014, wanted nothing more for his birthday this year than to see JT in concert.
Nice Guy Justin Timberlake strikes again.
Julian's mother and father bought him tickets to the San Jose gig and later shared videos of the impromptu birthday celebration. His mother, Marika Rosenthal Delan blogged about the memorable night on the website The Manifest Station. She thanked the group of young women in front of the family that night for getting Timberlake’s attention over the screaming crowd and letting Julian have his moment of glory.

"And at the perfect quiet moment, the group in front of us started yelling to get Justin's attention, because despite his loud volume, Julian's voice was not carrying. Only repeating," Julian's mom said. "And then before we knew what was happening, the group in front of us that had turned out to be so incredibly kind all night to our birthday boy, and these gorgeous girls who I was convinced would be totally annoyed by Julian, had captured Justin's attention."

Soon, Justin Timberlake was singing Happy Birthday to Julian and the entire stadium had joined in. Judging by the photo Marika shared on Instagram, Julian looks like he had a blast at the gig.
"We love you, Julian AND we love YOU Justin Timberlake !!!" she wrote. "Thank you for making his birthday SO special!!!"
