Kaiser Chiefs' forthcoming album is filled with ''instant hits''.

The English indie rock band, which is fronted by former 'The Voice' judge Ricky Wilson - are set to release their new LP 'Stay Together' on October 7 and is filled with tracks they believe will be an instant success in the charts.

Speaking to The Sun newspaper, the 'Ruby' hitmakers said: ''We weren't into making a guitar record this time. We wanted to remember our ethos [...] When we wrote our first record, all we wanted to do was to play festivals where everyone remembered us. To do that we had to write what sounded to us like instant hits.

Kaiser Chiefs have surprised their fans with a rather different sounding new song called ‘Parachute’, on the day they announced a new album and a huge show in London next month.

Unveiling their first album in over two years, which will be called Stay Together and is set for an undisclosed release date in summer 2016, the Leeds band unleashed a new single that has split opinion among fans, demonstrating a new electronic direction and produced by Brian Higgins, the man behind the Xenomania production team responsible for a lot of noughties chart pop.

The Kaiser Chiefs have managed to annoy a company who manufacture bike parts by ‘stealing’ their logo, the NME report. The band has responded to Sturmy Archer, whose logo bears stark similarities to the cover the Chief’s new album, Education, Education, Education and War, to be released next month.

Ricky Wilson, the frontman of The Kaiser Chiefs, has been chosen to fill the remaining seat on The Voice judging panel for the next season of the BBC talent contest. Ricky is the final new face to be added to the show.

As the frontman of the three-time BRIT Award winners, Wilson garnered a reputation as one of the most energetic frontmen in popular music and recorded such hits as 'I Predict A Riot,' 'Oh My God' and 'Ruby.' He will join fellow newcomer Kylie Minogue, who has been chosen to replace Jessie J, as well as show stalwarts Sir Tom Jones and Will.i.am. But it isn't just Wilson and Minogue who will be joining the show for the first time, as The Voice will introduce two new hosts following the departure of Holly Willoughby and Reggie Yates. JLS singer Marvin Humes and Big Brother presenter Emma Willis have since been hired to present the show when it returns next year.

Kaiser Chief's Ricky Wilson "F*cked Off" As Leeds Arena Books Bruce Springsteen

Kaiser Chiefs Ricky Wilson Bruce Springsteen Elton John

Kaiser Chief frontman Ricky Wilson has had his indie-heart broken by the evil executives at the new Leeds Arena, who have booked Bruce Springsteen and Elton John for shows at the new 13,500 seater venue despite initially confirming the Yorkshire band as an important part of is opening season. The Boss will open the doors of the arena on Wednesday 24, July, before Elton plays on September 4, 2013. The Kaiser Chiefs appear to have been relegated to the third act to play the venue on September 14, 2013, despite believing they would be opening the whole thing.

Wilson's band were among the first acts to be announced for the arena, with bassist Simon Rix saying at the time, "Having played everywhere in Leeds from the Duchess (RIP) to Elland Road, we are massively happy that Leeds has built somewhere new for us to play. Looking forward to opening Leeds Arena next year, it's going to be bigger than Ken Bates' legal bill." Now, with marquee acts signed on, Wilson is understandably hacked off. "Really f*cked off with Leeds Arena, they asked us to open the thing then put Elton on the week before and now Bruce," tweeted the singer on Tuesday afternoon (February 19, 2013) before quickly deleting the message. He followed it up by saying, "Thought I better delete that. Just really f**cked off."

Nick Hodgson, The Kaiser ChiefsOh My God: Nick Hodgson Has Announced His Departure From The Kaiser Chiefs

Kaiser Chiefs drummer Nick Hodgson has quit the band after 15 years. The drummer, backing vocalist and primary songwriting announced the news on Twitter on Tuesday (December 4, 2012), telling fans of the Leeds band, "I can confirm I have left Kaiser Chiefs after 15 spectacular years. I'm moving on. I wish the rest of the band the very best!"

His band-mates tweeted their support for Nick's decision and there doesn't appear to be any bad blood over his departure. Lead singer Ricky Wilson said, "@nickkaiserchief The door is on the latch and the key under the mat," while bass player Simon Rix said, "good luck to @nickkaiserchief with his plans. I can exclusively confirm we will still be collaborating on pints in pubs." Named after Kaizer Chiefs, the South African football team and onetime home of Leeds legend Lucas Radebe, the Kaisers formed after Hodgson met Wilson and guitarist Andrew White (firstly calling themselves Runston Parva, and then Parva). He played with the band for six albums in total and wrote a string of their biggest hits, including, Oh My God, I Predict A Riot and Ruby.
