Kandi Burruss, who has one daughter, Riley, 11, from a previous relationship, tied the knot with TV producer Todd Tucker.

The reality TV star married Tucker on Friday April 4th in their home city of Atlanta, Georgia.

Burruss spoke with In Touch on her big day, and described what it feels to be married for the first time.

"This is one of the best days of my life! I never imagined that I would marry my best friend. Todd's been that to me," Kandi told the magazine. "And to have just had the wedding of my dreams, it's all been so beautiful. Now it's time to party!"

Earlier today (Sunday 6th April) the 37 year-old shared a photo on her Instagram page of her tank top that had 'Bride' printed across it in silver.

"Good afternoon! I woke up feeling blessed & highly favored this morning & I hope you did too!" the caption read. "I just wanted to say thank you for all of your well wishes prayers for @todd167 & I."

The pair first met when filming series four of 'The Real Housewives of Atlanta' back in 2011 and became engaged in January 2013.

Tucker popped the big question to Burruss on New Year's Day, presenting his beau with a huge two-carat diamond ring which was designed by Gregg Ruth.
