Kanye West has already caused a stir at New York Fashion Week by organising a last-minute show for later this week, angering one designer who has had to re-arrange her slot for another time because of the media carnage that the rapper’s latest Adidas hook-up is bound to trigger.

Anne Bowen, a luxury brand designer hoping to launch a streetwear collection called “NVII Nomad VII by Anne Bowen’, has reportedly been left with no choice but to move her show back by one day to Thursday September 17th, after Yeezy’s announcement this weekend that he’d be previewing his second season of ‘Kanye West X Adidas’ on Wednesday at noon.

Bowen turned to Women’s Wear Daily to vent her frustration at having to change her plans at great expense at such short notice. “It's like we are David and he is Goliath. We have been prepping for a year for this at considerable financial, labour, and commitment-cost to our company.”

“Our show date has been scheduled for months and has been on the Fashion Calendar for weeks,” she continued, adding: “We went through all the proper channels to make this a reality.”

“And just yesterday we learned that Kanye West is having a show at the same time on the same date as ours,” she fumed. “Kanye knows he is a media sensation and it is just not ethical to do this. We have put our heart and soul into our show, and should not be stepped on like this.”

She also took to Twitter on Sunday in order to try to show up the inconvenience that the rapper’s announcement had caused to her. “Wanna know how to create a logistical nightmare? Check this out @kanyewest,” she wrote, adding the hashtags ‘#AnnebowenvsKanye #Thanks Kanye”.
