It’s about time this happened! Kate Middleton and Prince William – who also go by the titles of the Duke and Duchess of Cambridge – have finally visited… Cambridge!

Despite the fact that the royal couple have been wandering around using the city’s name since they got married and had the name bestowed upon them by The Queen, they have only now found a window in their busy schedules to visit the city famous for it’s top-notch university and boat race history.

Kate and Wills were in Cambridge to open a 24 hour refuge for homeless people and will also be watching a drama, music and dance performance by children from one of the local schools. According to the BBC hundreds of local residents gathered on the streets to greet them and wish them well. Last night, the couple were spotted out at the opening of the Natural History Museum’s Treasures gallery.

Kate opted to wear a top-of-the-range Mulberry dress that she’s been spotted in before but who could blame her for wanting to wear it again - pictured on the Huffington Post website. The $2200 green Mulberry dress is a retro affair, pleated with long sleeves and a collar buttoned to the neck, with the CND symbol woven all over, as well as the Mulberry logo. She probably saw the praise that Michelle Obama’s been getting for recycling her wardrobe recently and decided to dust off some of her designer gowns for a second outing.
