The world has gone wild for yet another Kate Middleton dress, although not everybody is quite so keen on all the Duchess' outfits.
A Diane Von Furstenberg dress worn by The Duchess of Cambridge on her tour of Australia has sold out in just 8 minutes. The $325 dress is currently available “for preorder” after fans of the Duchess’ style immediately rushed to the designer’s site to order the same dress that Kate had donned in Winmalee, Australia on Thursday.
The Duchess of Cambridge has come to be considered as a style icon
The “Patrice Printed Cotton Wrap Dress” joins the long list of dresses made famous by Catherine, Duchess of Cambridge. The $645 blue Issa dress worn by the Duchess for her engagement announcement sold out within 24 hours in both the United States and in the UK.
Catherine’s style is regularly emulated by female fans; however, her husband may not be quite so keen. A few days ago the Duchess revealed to Heather Easton outside the Sydney Opera House that Prince William thought she looked “like a banana” in the yellow Roksanda Ilincic dress that she was wearing. The wool crepe dress with white panel detailing retails at $1595.
