She may be one of the biggest models in the world right now, but Kate Upton doesn't feel the need to show off everything for the camera just yet. The twenty-two year old who was born in Michigan but raised in Florida is a regular in racy men's magazine Sports Illustrated, but she has never posed completely nude, and according to a new interview with Details, she's happy for it to stay that way.

When quizzed about other famous models who have posed nude such as Kate Moss and Lara Stone, Upton responded "For me those photos are art. Your body is art, your body is beautiful, and to be photographed in that way is amazing and it's received in a very positive way. But with social media and the Internet and not so great blogs and the attention like that, I don't think that my pictures would be received in the way that I'd want them to be received. That's why I've stayed away from them. I really appreciate those photos and I think those women are beautiful, but I think social media and the Internet has prevented me from putting myself out there like that."

Kate Upton proves (yet again) that she can do high fashion just as well as Sports Illustrated on the cover of UK Vogue’s June edition. The model, now at the beginning of her acting career looks gorgeous and sun-kissed on the cover, shot by Mario Testino. The Upton/Testino/Vogue collaboration is a familiar one, but once again, it works. She is photographed in a vintage bikini, channeling her inner 50s pinup. Protographers and stylists tend to like that aesthetic on the SI covergirl, probably because she has the body type to pull it off.

Upton's figure is more of a barrier in film than in modelling.

Upton’s feature interview, however, is where things really get interesting. The 21-year-old woman, widely considered the curviest non-plus size supermodel at the moment, recalls that it was precisely her body that gave her trouble booking auditions. Her first role is as that of a perpetually bikini-clad gigglebox in the Cameron Diaz vehicle The Other Woman. The movie was generally ill-received by critics and doesn’t really provide a lot of opportunities for Upton to flex her hypothetical acting muscles. Even so, it’s a role she had to fight for, the model recalls.

We had high hopes for Cameron Diaz’s new movie The Other Woman. Both Diaz and co-star Leslie Mann have a proven track record for churning out some pretty decent comedy movies. While we weren’t sure about Kate Upton launching an acting career, the dynamic between the three in the trailer seemed promising.

Yet despite knocking Captain America: The Winter Soldier off the top spot, a feat which Rio 2, Transcendence and Draft Day all failed to do, critics have not been wholly kind about The Other Woman. Geoffrey Macnab of the Independent surmised, “The plotting is predictable, the cameo from Nicki Minaj is pointless and some of the humour is sadistic in the extreme, but the film yields at least a few chuckles along the way.”  While not completely slating the film, Macnab certainly doesn’t seem entirely won over.

The Other Woman, starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Man, Nikolaj-Coster Waldau and Kate Upton in her acting debut, is yet to be released in cinemas, but is already floundering in the review department. The film lays on the clichés with a heavy hand – Coster-Waldau is the uber-confident, uber-annoying cheating husband, Mann is his neurotic wife, Diaz is his mistress and Upton is his younger mistress. Neither of the women knows about the other two. Until they find out, that is. The biggest twist to recommend this movie is that instead of the plot devolving into the tired old catfight cliché, the three band together to get even with the cheater. They go on a vengeance rampage, presumably because that’s what the writers think scorned women do.

The Other Woman shoots for originality, but ultimately stops at mediocrity.

The LA Times’ review gives credit where credit is due – the plot isn’t all that original, but the easy laughs are still abundant, at least in the beginning. Unfortunately, at some point The Other Women significantly dumbs down both its characters and its story, making it hard to watch through to the end. “Slyness, slapstick and sex can often be mixed to amusing effect whatever the specifics — the original "Hangover," for example, did a credible job of it — but "The Other Woman" is ultimately undone by its indecision,” writes Betsey Sharkey.

Nice Work, 'Noah': Darren Aronofsky's latest epic, Noah, was released last weekend and managed to triumph at its debut box office with $44 million, despite all the negative publicity regarding religious condemnation and middling reviews. Starring Russell Crowe, Jennifer Connelly and Emma Watson, Noah is based on the well-known Genesis tale but is given a pump of testosterone with the Black Swan director's dramatic CGI marvel. Kate Upton's Sports Illustrated dream goes on, with the model posing for her THIRD cover this month. The 21-year-old supermodel joins baseball brothers B.J and Justin Upton - no relation - on the October cover to kick off the magazine's postseason preview.

As mentioned, this is the swimsuit model's third cover for the magazine and it seems like it may have been her most enjoyable experience yet.

"This shoot is so much fun. Honestly, shooting with anybody in the Sports Illustrated family is a lot of fun for me because I know everybody and I love everybody here. And we're dancing and enjoying a little baseball, and I get a jersey," she said.

Men of the world rejoice because it's finally happened; Kate Upton has gone topless! During a recent photoshoot the model was taking some tantalising shots whilst riding a horse, but a pre-shoot de-robing led to her sweater puppies being unveiled and all was caught on glorious video by a cameraman who happened to be filming the photoshoot.

As we've learnt so far, Kate isn't the kind of girl who would usually go topless for a photo-shoot and this particular shoot she was wasn't meant to show off all her skin, but luckily that's exactly what happened. So here's what happened; Kate was on top of a horse wearing a plain jacket before the shoot took place, and then proceeded to take that off, then her bottom half off and then her bra too. She did try concealing herself with her arm when she took the final layer, but obviously that was never going to work.

The story was broken by TMZ earlier today (June 20), who also included a censored (sorry guys) video on their website. Unfortunately, the site (and ours) aren't able to publish the full, uncensored version, but it you look hard enough on the internet you'll probably come up trumps at some point. As soon as there was the slightest chance that Kate Upton was dating Maksim Chmerkovskiy, the rumors started blazing. Good news for the thousands of fans crushing on the 20-year-old model though – those rumors were not true. According to E! News, a source close to both celebrities explained that the two "are just good friends," while a second source (who is close with Chmerkovskiy) revealed that they've "heard nothing about them dating."

Barring the possibility that the Upton and Chmerkovskiy don’t immediately share each new private detail of their lives with friends, this would mean that the two are most definitely not together. Note that the entire supposed romance began, unfolded and subsequently died without a single word from either Kate or Maksim on the matter. It began with a report coming in that the pair were spotted wining and dining together at Scalinatella in New York.

Apparently that really is all it takes for the headlines to start rolling. However, management at the Upper East Side joint subsequently denied the claims and explained that the dinner between Upton and Chmerkovskiy “did not look intimate at all.” In fact, they could not confirm that it was the high profile pair at all, but whoever it was, they appeared to be “just friends.” If this is a repeat of the Justin Verlander affair though, the rumors aren’t likely to stop until Upton herself explicitly denies any connection.

McCarthy accompanied the picture with a caption reading; "With Congressman Fred Upton and his niece, Kate. We are celebrating Kate’s 21st Birthday #kateupton,” just to silence anyone who doubted that he spent the day with Kate Upton.

Fred Upton and McCarthy have recently written an opposition pieces for the San Jose Mercury in which the Republicans attack President Obama's plans to introduce free healthcare in California as a stepping stone towards making free or affordable healthcare available for everyone. The piece, titled 'President is California Dreamin’ about Obamacare,' outlines the evils of providing free or affordable healthcare to everyone, because the poor get enough easy breaks in life as it is.

After appearing on the cover of Sports Illustrated twice, the gorgeous Kate Upton is going high fashion for Vogue. The model posed for a series of super stylish shots for a spread in the magazine and she also explained the persona she hopes to project and her own work ethic. A work ethic which can be summed up as: "Growing up, I didn't buy the magazines that had models on the covers, because I didn't know them. So I think it kind of gives me, as a model, a personality that people can connect with."

Good on her then. The pictures, shot by Mario Testino, show an incredibly lively, smiley, tanned and healthy looking Upton, which is exactly the image everyone knows and loves on her. But according to Kate, not everyone in the fashion industry is entirely pleased with her look. She has a good way of dealing with rejection though: "The things that they're rejecting are things that I can't change. I can't change my bra size," she says within the pages of Vogue. Both Kate Upton and P Diddy have taken to Twitter to deny reports they are Hollywood's latest power couple, following rumors of a steamy "make out" session in Miami recently. According to the New York Daily News' gossip column, the pair were spotted locking lips during a night out at the LIV club in Miami Beach, though it appears their sources were less than accurate.

An eyewitness told the newspaper, "They were kissing, they weren't hiding it," with the couple apparently partying all night in the exclusive VIP section of the club, or not, as the case may be. "Attention all Media. I don't even know Kate Upton personally!" 43-year-old Sean Combs, aka P Diddy said on Twitter. "I'm not dating her! What's being reported is not true. END of story!" Sports Illustrated model Upton, 20, also shot down the reports, tweeting, "Really??? Not at all true."

An insider has since told Us Weekly that both stars have partied at the LIV club in recent weeks, though "they weren't even there at the same time." Which sort of makes it difficult to see each other, or have a make-out session for that matter.

P-Diddy had previously tweeted: “Miami… Ain’t no party like a @iamdiddy party … Meet me at Club Liv 2nite #CIROCBOYZ in the building!!!” Reports suggest that Upton arrived to the club after Diddy, and joined him in the VIP area, but it would appear – if the pair are to be believed – that that’s simply not true. Kate recently broke up with Major League Baseball player, Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander.

Having enjoyed back-to-back SI swimsuit issue covers, Upton is now hot property, and any suggestion that she’s dating anyone famous usually gets taken too far. P-Diddy is almost twice Upton’s age (she’s only 20 remember!) so there’s another reason people were going a bit crazy over this.

P Diddy and Kate Upton both seem to have gotten over their most recent relationships and appear to have hooked up together. The pair were reportedly making no secret of their new liaison at club LIV in Miami Beach late last month (March 2013). An eyewitness told New York Daily News “they were kissing, they weren’t hiding it.” This is pretty fast work from Mr Sean Combs and from Kate, both of whom were dating other people until not so long ago.

20-year-old Kate was dating the Detroit Tigers pitcher Justin Verlander, though she was definitely single by Valentines Day, when she stated that she was no longer dating Justin. P Diddy’s recently split from singer Cassie, too, despite having recently been seen house hunting with her. They were reportedly searching for a pad in Beverly Hills back in January so something must have gone wrong since then. Last September, he tweeted a picture of her, with the message “I’m a very lucky man #knowthat.”

After their meeting in Miami Beach, Upton reportedly met up for dinner with Diddy in New York. The pair apparently dined at Gemma, at the Bowery Hotel. A source told the Daily News “they were having dinner together,” which is what people generally do in restaurants, but you now, the whole kissing in a club thing is certainly something to get excited about, if you’re a fan of celebrity gossip.

Well, it was a nice try from plucky young Jake Davidson, but unfortunately, he will not be rolling up to his high school prom with world famous model Kate Upton. The Los Angeles high school senior asked the buxom Sports Illustrated swimsuit model to be his date via YouTube video, which subsequently went viral.

Surprisingly, Kate got in touch with the Today show and promised Jake she would check her schedule and do her best to make the date. The 20-year-old even tweeted, "How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule ;)" However, it wasn't to be for Jake and Kate, and the swimsuit model told People Magazine that her card is too full for the prom. "I'm not sure if I'll be able to go with him or not, due to my schedule," Upton said.  "I want to, but I just don't know if I can make it work. But I really appreciated being asked; it made me feel really great!"

Ask and ye shall receive. The statement couldn’t ring truer in the case of one Jake Davidson – a high school senior from Sherman Oaks, who invited the Sports Illustrated cover girl to his prom via youtube video last Saturday. It’s doubtful whether he even expected an answer, let alone an appearance on national television, but here we are, less than a week later and Jake’s video and story have swept the nation.

First the high-schooler received an enthusiastic maybe via Twitter on Tuesday, when Upton posted the message: "You can call me Katie if you want! How could I turn down that video! I'll check my schedule." Then, on Wednesday, he got to appear on the today show, with an additional surprise – a call from Upton herself, who talked to her admirer about the video and ironed out the details of the prom proposal. It’s still a “maybe” so far, but Kate has said that she would love to take Jake up on his offer.

A High School student who posted a seemingly half-joking video on YouTube asking if model Kate Upton would accompany him to his end of term prom has been left stunned after the 20 year-old appeared via phone on national television and agreed to the date!

Jake Davidson surely couldn’t have imagined in his wildest dreams that his video plea to model Kate Upton to accompany him to his high school prom would have gone as well as it has done – but the 17 year-old could now well find himself going to the ball with the glamour star after she popped up on the phone on the Today show to say yes!

According to The Sun, Davidson had been brought onto the show to talk about the Youtube video he’d posted in which he’d said “Hey Kate, can I call you Katie?" and listed a load of reasons as to why she should go to the prom with him. Upton though was also on the show via telephone and she made his day, maybe year, maybe life by saying "I absolutely love the video it was so hilarious and so creative. Thank you so much for doing that I really appreciate it." A stunned Jake replied "Kate, I'm telling you it would be a great night, great evening, I could even get the curfew extended hopefully if I speak to my parents." Awww.

The model laughed "I definitely have to just check my schedule but you seem like so much fun and if everything works out I'd love to go with you, I know we'd have a blast." So there we go, looks like all you need to get a date is to post a desperate video plea on Youtube! Wish someone had told us that a lot earlier, would have saved a lot of heartache.

Jake Davidson is the latest high school student to try his luck with a celebrity for his high school prom. An admirer of Sports Illustrated model Kate Upton, Jake stars in his own YouTube video, inviting the blonde bombshell to his end of term bash in Los Angeles. The clip, which lasts around two minutes, sees Jake laying on a poolside sun-lounger reading a copy of Sports Illustrated - with Kate on the cover.

"Hey Kate, Jake Davidson here in sunny Los Angeles, inviting you to my senior prom on May 23rd, 2013," he begins. Jake comes up with a list of reasons why Upton - one of the world's most famous models - should be his date for the prom. "You're the ying to my yang, I'm Jewish, 5'9 on a really good day - and I can't dance at all.You're Christian, 5'10, and that Cat Daddy video should have won an Oscar for best short film - you could say this is destiny." Later, Jake is seen shaving with a woman's razor, doing push ups, and showering. "I'm going to be real with you here, I don't have a girlfriend and with prom season rolling around this would be problematic for some, but I'm me, I'm Optimus Prime, I see the glass half full.Kate, great moments are born from great opportunity, and that's what you have here today a chance to make a nice guy's senior year, the best ever," he added, optimistically.

Ok, you’ll need to take a deep breath for this next one – it looks like Kate Upton and Justin Verlander are no more.

Well, at least not as a couple. Say it ain’t so! Have our dreams of beautiful Uplander babies been dashed to bits? Apparently so, and quite easily at that. When asked whether she and Verlander rang in the New Year at St Thomas (wasn’t that more than six weeks ago?) the Sports Illustrated model casually brushed the question aside, saying: "Actually, I'm single right now, so I spent my holiday in Melbourne, Fla.," Upton didn’t go into it any further, which was probably a wise decision on her part. And thousands of romantically inclined sports fans wept. Ok, not really, but let’s be honest – that would have been a pretty awesome gene pool.

It’s a bit strange perhaps, that everyone is in such a twist over the news (or lack thereof), since there was never any real confirmation that the two were even dating. According to People Magazine, the only hint at a possible relationship reportedly came from Verlander’s grandfather, who has been quoted as saying that that he “heard he has been on dates with a Sports Illustrated girl." So, yes, Kate Upton is still single, and apparently the same goes for the Detroit Tigers pitcher. Looks like we can all go back to fantasizing now.

Kate Upton once again graces the cover of Sports Illustrated's Swimsuit Issue this year, though the photo shoot hardly took place in the most obvious of destinations. Nope, Upton wasn't shipped off to Hawaii, Florida or California - instead, magazine bosses thought it right to send the world's most famous model to Antarctica.

"It was definitely the hardest shoot I've ever done," Upton, 20, told People magazine, "The best as well - Antarctica is one of the most beautiful place I've ever been to. But I'm from Florida, so it was pretty painful." It ended up paying off, with a 'perfect shot' earning Upton her second consecutive Sports Illustrated swimsuit cover - the first model to land the honour since Tyra Banks covered back-to-back issues in 1996 and 1997. "Everything about the picture is perfect," said Swimsuit Issue editor MJ Day, "The light, the background, the suit. It's different from what we've done in past years, and it was an exciting moment for us to have those photos work out." We find it hard to believe Upton wasn't nailed down for the cover BEFORE the shoot, though Day insists her crew didn't know if they'd get any useable photos. "It was difficult.First of all, it's cold, even though we were there in summer. The windchill was sub-zero - the elements are really working against you." 

In the all-important shot, Upton wears a Canada Goose Chilliwack Bomber coat, paired with white Letarte by Lisa Cabrinha bottoms. "I figured, why not a coat?" said Day, "We threw it on, took maybe 100 frames, then moved on."

So we know who’s going to be on the cover; it’s Kate Upton. Everybody knows that. So how do you drum up interest after the fact? Send every swimwear model onto The Late Show With David Letterman, that’s how.

All the girls – looking slightly odd fully dressed – participated in the Late Show Top Ten list, with Monday's topic being the top 10 questions on the application to become a SI swimsuit model. Emily Didonato started things off with: "How naked do you see yourself in five years?" Nina Agdal asked "Have you ever dated Charlie Sheen? (we can’t work out what the right answer for that question is)."Have you ever used any pose-enhancing drugs?" posed Julie Henderson. "Are you willing to visit the elderly at his late-night talk show?" offered Genevieve Morton and "How would Brent Musberger describe you?" was Miss Alabama Katherine Webb’s. No. 1 was cover girl Upton, with: "Where's the strangest place you've found sand?"

We’re pretty sure the application for swimsuit model on Sports Illustrated sounds like the worst thing ever - if you’re at all into feminism, equal rights or any of that left-wing cushiony nonsense that is. But if you like the idea selecting people based solely on their looks and their answers to sleazy questions, they my-oh-my, it’ll be right up your street. We jest, of course (sort of). The new issue of Sports Illustrated is released on Tuesday 11 February (TODAY!).

We’ve all seen a car being washed before, but have you seen one being washed in slow motion by a swimsuit model before? If you haven’t, then you still won’t have after watching the preview of Mercedes-Benz Super Bowl advert that they’ve uploaded onto Youtube. Despite billing the clip as ‘Kate Upton washes the all-new Mercedes-Benz CLA in Slow Motion’, the Sports Illustrated pin-up does no such thing.Shocking.

Instead, the model seems to have enlisted the help of several American Footballers to do the deed for her, whilst she watches on. She admittedly does look smoking whilst she watches on. So what does this all mean? Are we to see more of Upton when the full advert runs round? Or is she just going to walk off (presumably in slow motion) whilst these rugged lads get on with the task in hand.

They better make their mind up before the full ads finished otherwise that lovely looking new CLA is never going to get finished.
