The actor made New Jersey native Brianna Siciliano's dreams come true when he agreed to escort the teenager to her high school prom last month (Jun15), but he admits the date wasn't a spur of the moment thing.

Lutz tells U.S. news show Access Hollywood Live, "She reached out to me about five years ago during the Twilight craze and she had been bullied, and I don't like that at all... and I became her friend.

"We kept that social media friendship going and she asked me six months ago if I would be her date to prom and I said, 'I would love to'. It kinda worked out; I was doing a movie in New York and I called my buddies at Classic Car Manhattan and they let me drive a beautiful Bentley and I picked her up in style and gave her a night she'll never forget, hopefully.

"She's an amazing woman, so I'm glad I could be a part of that chapter in that book."

Lutz was a big hit at the Monroe Township High School prom, but he had to be onset at 4am the following morning, so he was happy for the date to end and get some sleep.
