Kelly Osbourne has been left stunned after a "sick" online imposter set up a new Twitter.com profile pretending to be her late pal Amy Winehouse.
The Rehab hitmaker passed away at her home in Camden, London in July (11) aged just 27. Osbourne was one of her closest friends and flew back from the U.S. to attend the funeral.
The rock offspring took offence to several of Winehouse's acquaintances selling their stories to the press following her death, and now she has been left furious over the creation of a fake profile in the singer's name.
The imposter used the name AmyjMermaid - impersonating Winehouse's Twitter account of AmyJadeMermaid - to contact Osbourne, writing, "miss ya darling!.x"
A livid Osbourne replied, "amyjmermaid thats not f**king funny u disrespectful t**t u should be ashamed dont ever tweet me again I'm going 2 (to) have u thrown of (sic) twitter! If you have one ounce of dignity or self-respect you will delete this fake amy profile or I will do it for you!
"I just can't believe the nerve of some people! Why would anyone make a fake profile and pretend to be Amy W that is just sick!"
The star took her complaint straight to Twitter moderators - who have reportedly agreed to take down the profile.
She adds, "Good news everyone I have emailed twitter and the a** hole with (the) fake Amy profile amyjmermaid will be taken down in a matter of hours!"
