Kelly Rowland let her husband name their baby son.

The 34-year-old singer and her spouse Tim Witherspoon welcomed their first child Titan into the world four months ago and she has admitted it was her beau who came up with the little one's moniker because she wanted him to have a role.

Speaking to E! News, she said: ''Tim said that's [Titan is] what he wanted the name to be. I actually told him to name the baby.

''I gave him the complete responsibility because I did everything else! I pushed the baby, I carried the baby, I'm dressing the baby and I'm changing the baby. Everything else! So yeah, I'm like, 'You name the baby!' ''

However, the former Destiny's Child beauty would have made him change the name if he had picked something she wasn't keen on.

When asked what she would have done if Tim had chosen a name she didn't like, she said with a giggle: ''I would have told him to change it until we got it right.''

Meanwhile, the brunette beauty has sprung back into shape since giving birth to little Titan but she insists she's still got a way to go until she's back to her pre-pregnancy weight.

She said: ''I'm not in a crazy rush [to lose the baby weight]. I'm just embracing the weight I have on.

''I mean, I just had a baby four months ago and I feel great. My baby is healthy, my family is happy and those that I love are healthy, so I'm not rushing to get back to it.''
