The Islands in the Stream singer, who announced he would retire from touring after one last trek, has postponed three dates and rescheduled them for later this year (16).

Rogers, 77, scrapped a concert in Tulsa, Oklahoma on Thursday (28Jan16), Bossier City, Louisiana on Friday (29Jan16) and Crockett, Texas on Saturday (30Jan16) due to "a minor illness", according to his management.

No specific details were given about his condition.

The Tulsa show will now take place on 7 April (16), meaning his farewell tour will extend further than planned.

He announced his retirement from touring last year (15), declaring his Once Again It's Christmas Tour would be his last. He told U.S. show Today, "I've done this long enough. There's a fine line between being driven and being selfish, and I think I crossed that line when I was younger. I really want to be there with my kids and my wife. I don't see enough of them. And I have some things on my bucket list."
