Kesha is a whole new woman – or a healthier one, at least, which is always a good thing. Since exiting rehab earlier this week, the Timber singer has been making an effort to project a much more positive image – including, apparently, changing her stage name.

You’ll notice the lack of a dollar sign in the singer’s pseudonym – that’s not a typo. Kesha herself has stopped using the symbol and even dropped it from her twitter name. It must be a big deal, if it’s Twitter official.

Before and after: happy and positive Kesha even looks like a new person.

And speaking of her whole twitter persona, Kesha changed the entire thing. Instead of the old sarcastic @Ke$haSuxx, the singer can now be found under @KeshaRose (her first and middle names). Small steps, but the 27-year-old performer is clearly recovering. In January, the pop star checked into Timberline Knolls treatement center in Illinois, seeking treatment for anorexia and bulimia. It was the same facility that housed Demi Lovato in 2010.

"I'm a crusader for being yourself and loving yourself, but I've found it hard to practice," she said in a statement at the time. On Thursday, she finally announced her return to the outside world, having gone through the full treatment at the facility.

It must be that the no longer troubled singer has changed her stage name to reflect her new positive outlook on life. Speaking of, she’s also been tweeting since the end of her rehab stint. Most recently, she shared a picture of herself, sporting brand new pink hair and a white sweatshirt with “I’m a survivor!” written on it. How appropriate is that?
