The Timber singer, who sold off her home in the Tennessee city last month (Mar16), recently filmed a guest appearance on Hayden Panettiere's show, on which Kesha will feature as herself, reports People.com.

The 29-year-old will appear in an episode, in which Panettiere's singer/actress character reunites with Noah West, portrayed by dancer/actor Derek Hough, as they hit the Oscars campaign trail, during which they meet Kesha.

Her appearance will air in the U.S. on 11 May (16), a year after Kesha previously scored small acting roles on sitcom Jane the Virgin and in movie flop Jem and the Holograms.

The new gig is part of Kesha's comeback after her music career stalled due to her legal battle with Sony Music executives and producer Dr. Luke, who she has accused of emotional and physical abuse - allegations he strongly denies.

The singer recently suffered a court setback after her efforts to have her Sony contract with Luke's Kemosabe Records terminated were dismissed by a New York judge, but she is planning a return to the stage and is heavily rumoured to be joining the line-up for this weekend's (15-17Apr16) Coachella festival in California as a surprise, last-minute addition.

She has also been booked to perform at a Bob Dylan celebration concert in May (16) to mark his 75th birthday. Kesha will join the likes of Emmylou Harris and Kacey Musgraves at the country-heavy Dylan Fest at the Ryman Auditorium in Nashville, Tennessee, where over 30 acts will perform Dylan tributes.

If the hush-hush Coachella gig doesn't happen, the Dylan Fest date will be Kesha's first public performance since her Sony lawsuit dismissal.
