Fact: Entourage star Kevin Dillon has signed on to play the real-life New York police officer who attempted to save John Lennon after the Beatles star was shot outside his Dakota Building home in 1980. First-time director Jeremy Profe's The Lennon Report will chronicle the people who tried to keep the music legend alive.
Fact: An iconic New York restaurant part-owned by Entourage co-stars Kevin Connolly and Kevin Dillon is being sold off at a price of $1.85 million (£1.23 million). The 75-year-old eatery next door to the Saratoga Race Course in Saratoga Springs was purchased by officials at Racing Restaurants of America, of which the actors are investors, in 2010, but they have now decided to offload the property.
Fact: Actor Kevin Dillon's new U.S. comedy How To Be A Gentleman has been cancelled. Just weeks after his hit show Entourage ended its run, Dillon has been dealt a double blow. The sitcom, which also starred David Hornsby, has ceased production.
