He's not really running for Senate.
Not that many people thought he was serious anyway, Kid Rock has confirmed that he is absolutely not running for Senate and that it's all just a big publicity stunt. In fact, he can't believe that there were plenty of people who genuinely thought he wanted to become the next president.

Can you imagine Kid Rock in politics? Neither can he, apparently. He's just clarified that he was never serious about running for Senate in an interview with Howard Stern on SiriusXM yesterday (October 24th 2017). Of course, nobody would've taken him seriously if we didn't already have a celebrity figure as a president.
'F*** no, I'm not running for Senate. Are you kidding me?' He said. 'Who couldn't figure that out? I'm releasing a new album. I'm going on tour too. Are you f***ing sh***ing me?'
Naturally, that means that his whole Kid Rock For Senate website was a total fake and it was all to draw attention to the fact that he's releasing a new album soon entitled 'Sweet Southern Sugar', along with his Greatest Show on Earth Tour next year.
'It's the worst advice I ever gave myself, but it's been the most creative thing I've ever done', he said of the Senate idea. 'And I've gotten to see everyone's true colors.'
'As soon as I said, 'I don't know, maybe (I'll run),' everyone goes: 'He's the Klan wizard, he's homophobic, he's Islamophobic', he continued, citing his Republican stance on politics. 'I'm like, this is kind of fun - might as well be!' Of course, Kid Rock finds such accusations laughable, and actually considers himself to be 'socially liberal' and 'fiscally conservative'.
His upcoming tour begins on January 19th at Nashville's Bridgestone Arena, with scheduled dates running until March 24th at the Mandalay Bay Events Center in Las Vegas.
'Sweet Southern Sugar' will be released on November 3rd 2017.
