Korn, The Hives and Jimmy Eat World have been confirmed for Download Festival.

The acts are among 37 new bands added to the bill today, joining headliners Iron Maiden, Rammstein and Slipknot.

The festival will take place between June 14 and 16 at Donington Park in Derbyshire, England.

Other bands added to the line up include Limp Bizkit, Coal Chamber, Airbourne, Amon Amarth, Buffalo Summer, Cancer Bats, Coal Chamber, Mastodon, Motionless In White, Parkway Drive and Stone Sour.

British metallers Asking Alexandria, Bullet For My Valentine and Enter Shikari will also be playing, as will Hardcore Superstar, Heaven's Basement, Hellyeah and Three Doors Down.

After the news was announced, Cancer Bats tweeted: ''Hey everyone! We are playing the main stage at This years Download Festival!! (sic)

Many fans were also pleased, with James Atkinson tweeting: ''This is why @DownloadFest wins best festival most years , putting line ups like this on (sic).''

Austin Carlile added: ''I'm sorry but the announcements for @DownloadFest are perfect #bestyear #DL2013 (sic)''

User EllaSimpson91 said she was determined to go, writing: ''@DownloadFest looks better than EVER! I'm going to move heaven and earth to go even if I have to miss my graduation!! (sic)''

Other bands already added to the bill include Alice in Chains, Motorhead, Queens of the Stone Age and 30 Seconds to Mars.
