Kim Kardashian has received yet more grief from her estranged husband Kris Humphries as he accuses her of using her unborn baby as tool to fast forward their difficult divorce proceedings.

After their shambolic 72 day marriage, Brooklyn Nets player Humphries has been dragging out his divorce from reality star Kardashian for more than a year, claiming that their marriage was a sham and seeking an annulment. Things got more complicated recently when Kim fell unexpectedly pregnant with her new boyfriend rapper Kanye West. According to Californian law, Kris is the 'presumed' father of her unborn child since he is still technically her husband and he has the ability to claim rights to the child if Kim cannot provide evidence of Kanye's paternity. There has been no evidence of Kris wishing to use this to his advantage as of yet (surprisingly) but he has made the pregnancy difficult for other reasons, most recently suggesting that the Kim is trying to use it to force court proceedings. And why shouldn't she? After all, all this stress can't be doing her any good or, more importantly, the baby.

Kris' attorney, Marshall Waller told E! News: 'What is really going on here is that an 'urgency' in the form of an apparently unplanned pregnancy, something the Respondent had nothing to do with, is perceived by Plaintiff as an opportunity to gain a litigation advantage by trying to force this court to prematurely set this matter for trial.' He went on to say that he thought Kim and her associated were 'hiding' something about the allegedly fraudulent relationship.
