Kris Humphries' family blame Kris Jenner for his ''sham wedding'' to her daughter Kim Kardashian.

The Brooklyn Nets player's aunt and uncle Dedria and Mike Humphries think the 32-year-old beauty should grant their nephew an annulment and accused her of not taking her 72-day marriage to him seriously.

The 28-year-old basketball player's aunt Dedria told The Sun newspaper: ''It was a sham. My understanding of marriage is people are going to give it more than 72 days unless there's serious abuse.

''If I felt somebody had duped me and used me in front of the whole world, I would be very angry. An annulment says it wasn't valid in the first place. She should admit that it was a sham at the very least.''

His uncle Mike, who attended the couple's nuptials in 2011 with his wife in Santa Barbara, also blasted Kim's mother and manager Kris as being a ''wicked mastermind'' behind the wedding, which was filmed for an E! reality special, and said he ''would love for her to get thumped''.

He said: ''She's the mastermind. You can just see that's the brains making that thing go. The wicked part is she's using her family to make that thing. All of it's really due to her.''

Kim, who is expecting her first child in July with her rapper boyfriend of almost a year Kanye West, has accused her estranged husband of holding her ''hostage'' through their divorce and wants to move on with her life.

The sports star is keen to have their brief marriage annulled on the grounds of fraud, insisting Kim only married him for publicity on her show 'Keeping Up With the Kardashians', but she wants a divorce because she claims she married him for love.

Their split has been dragging on since October 2011 but their divorce trial will take place in May.
