It's all looking very bleak for Kris Humphries, isn't it? It seems his legal battle with Kim Kardashian is almost over, after his own lawyer Marshall Waller made it clear to his client there are absolutely NO legal grounds for annulling his marriage to Kim, simply because there is no evidence of fraud. In case you haven't been keeping up with this (we don't blame you), Kris claims Kardashian married him for no reason other than to further her own career. Of course, Kardashian denies this.

Sources tell TMZ.com that Waller and Kris have reached an impasse because the basketball star's out-of-state attorney Lee Hutton won't budge from the annulment thing. Waller filed legal documents on Thursday (February 14, 2013) asking the judge to get him "the hell out of the case." Basically, Waller doesn't think Humphries has a chance of winning the lawsuit. In his motion, Waller claims he and Kris have "irreconcilable differences," - exactly the grounds for a normal divorce.

Kim and Kris' lawyers are in court this morning when divorce-queen Laura Wasser will demand a trial date as early as next month. Wasser and Kardashian basically have the case in their hands, though Humphries may now argue he needs more time having lost his California lawyer. Should the judge agree, it would be the fourth delay of the trial for a 72 day marriage that ended a year-and-a-half ago. Nobody wants that.
