Kristin Scott Thomas is sharpening her vocal skills as she prepares to perform in her first stage musical, A LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC.
Scott Thomas, 49, has agreed to play actress Desiree Armfeldt in the production, to be staged for the first time in France at Paris' Theatre du Chatelet next year (10).
And she's sure to be nervous for the upcoming production - as it will be her first role in which she has to sing.
Her French agent says, "She's never done this before. I don't know if she can sing!"
Elizabeth Taylor played Desiree in a 1977 film based on the musical, while Natasha Richardson had been lined up to play the part off-Broadway before her death in March (09).
