Kurt Russell and Goldie Hawn's ice hockey star son Wyatt is joining the family business after landing a leading role in the 21 Jump Street sequel.

The 27 year old, who made his acting debut at the age of 10 in his dad's film Escape From L.A. and has appeared in Cowboys & Aliens and This is 40, will team up with Channing Tatum and Jonah Hill in 22 Jump Street.

He'll play a fraternity brother who bonds with Tatum’s character, before becoming a suspect in a case the leading man and his cop partner are investigating at a college.

Russell has also been cast as ice hockey legend Bobby Orr in indie movie biopic Turk, which will also feature Ed Burns.
