Kylie Minogue is ''thrilled'' she will receive a Silver Clef award.

The 'Can't Get You out of My Head' hitmaker will be honoured with the 25th Anniversary Nordoff Robbins O2 Silver Clef Award at the ceremony next Friday (29.06.12), and is pleased to support the work the charity does in aiding people through music therapy.

She said: ''I am thrilled and honoured to be receiving the 25th Anniversary O2 Silver Clef Award from Nordoff Robbins.

''The work that Nordoff Robbins does, using music therapy to transform the lives of vulnerable children and adults is amazing. This will be a special event and I am delighted to be able to attend and reunite with many friends too.''

The 37th annual ceremony will bring together a host of musicians, and Jessie J, Emeli Sandé, Conor Maynard, Lord Andrew Lloyd Webber and Michael Bublé will all be presented with awards on the day.

Meanwhile, Sir Paul McCartney has donated one of his iconic Hofner bass violin guitars to be auctioned in order to raise funds for Nordoff Robbins.

The guitar will be on display between June 8 and 12 at Christie's Auction House in South Kensington, London.

Details on how to bid for Paul's guitar can be found at nordoffrobbins.org.uk.
