Lady GaGa and RedOne want to ''make history'' with her new album.

The 'Poker Face' hitmaker has again teamed up with the producer - who she previously worked with on hits including 'Just Dance' and 'Bad Romance' - on her new album 'ARTPOP' and the pair are particularly excited by new track 'Gypsy', which is expected to be a single from the album.

RedOne said: ''My intent is the same thing: make history. If we don't feel like this is part of history again, we're not going to do it, but we're enjoying [the process]. We love doing music, so it will be interesting to see what's going to happen.''

Gaga praised the efforts of another collaborator, 19-year-old DJ and producer Madeon, for his work on the record.

She told France's Fun Radio: ''[Madeon] is so amazing. He has such an understanding of music at such a young age. He reminds me of myself so much. He's obsessed, so obsessed with music.

''We worked on some amazing songs together. One song in particular I love so much. It's called 'Gypsy', we wrote it with RedOne.''
