TV personality Larry King is honored at the 2011 Friars Club Testimonial dinner gala at the Sheraton New York Hotel & Towers. Celebrities, including Kathy Griffin, Katie Couric and Joan Rivers, attended the testimonial dinner that quickly turned into a lighthearted roast at the TV presenter's expense.Larry is best known for hosting Larry King Live, from 1985 to 2010, when it was announced that the British TV personality Piers Morgan would taken over following Larry's departure. The programme was subsequently changed to Piers Morgan Tonight
