As Conrad was the show’s star her involvement in the project is crucial for it to move forward. The source added that the initial concept for the film would be to begin with Patridge’s wedding in Australia to longtime boyfriend Corey Bohan, with all her friends in attendance.

The film would then catch up with the cast, ‘who are now almost all in their 30s and leading very different lives (marriages, kids, etc.)', much like the first Sex and the City movie. Earlier this week Conrad announced she’d be revisiting the show for MTV special, ‘The Hills: That Was Then, This Is Now’.
