Laurence Fishburne is in talks to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence and Chris Pratt in 'Passengers'.

The 54-year-old actor, who's previously starred in 'The Matrix' franchise and 'Boyz n the Hood', is wanted to appear with two of Hollywood's biggest names in the eagerly-awaited sci-fi drama, according to The Hollywood Reporter.

The movie is to be directed by Oscar nominee Morten Tyldum, who helmed 'The Imitation Game', and is set on a spacecraft that is transporting thousands of people to a distant planet.

British actor Michael Sheen is also set to star in the movie, although his precise role is still to be revealed.

Meanwhile, Chris Pratt is set to return to the role of Velociraptor expert Owen Grady in 'Jurassic World 2', which is due out in June 2015.

The first movie has already become one of Universal's biggest-grossing hits of all time, banking over $1.5 billion at the box office, and has also cemented Chris' place as one of Hollywood's most sough-after actors.

In recent months, Chris has also been heavily linked to the role of Indiana Jones in a reboot of the iconic movie franchise.
