Singer/rapper Lauryn Hill Will Be Honoured With A Prestigious Prize At The 28th Annual Rhythm & Soul Awards In Los Angeles Next Month (Jun15).
The former Fugees star will be presented with the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP) Golden Note Award in recognition of her career success at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel in Los Angeles on 25 June (15).
She will also perform at the prizegiving ceremony.
A statement from ASCAP president Paul Williams reads: "Ms. Hill's talent as a songwriter is undeniable and reflects her singular take on the world we live in."
Previous recipients of the accolade include Pharrell Williams, Dr. Dre, Alicia Keys and Stevie Wonder.
